Positive Reinforcement Training

Jeff and Kathy Instuctors at Canine Works Dog Training Academy use positive reinforcement training for all of our classes. This will expedite your training and make it more successful for long term use. We assign homework and give follow up support for all lessons given.

Our next dog training classes will start Wednesday May 15th at Healthy Pet in Latham. Join us for puppy , advanced and Canine Good Citizen, as well as therapy dog prep. Classes include fun agility and dog games for getting your pup’s attention. IMPORTANT UPDATE
Due to many clients have conflicts with upcoming holidays the start date has been changed to the first Wednesday in Jan. I will be offering 1/2 hour private lessons for those in immediate need of training till classes start. Please text 518 331 5068 if interested.

Good evening for those signed up for class starting this Wednesday. Puppies will start at 5 , older puppies will start at 6pm. Please come 5 minutes early to fill out forms. This session of 6 weeks is filled. Looking forward to teaching you and you 4 legged family members . Please bring treats and a 6 foot leash. If any questions call 518 331 5068

Hello ! I will be holding puppy classes at Healthy Pet in Latham starting in October.

Interstate will be hosting National Level helper Adriel Linyear for a two day protection clinic Sat June 30 and Sun July 1st. We will have both working and auditing spots available.

Two upcoming dates for working with Nic March 25th and April 22nd. Both are Sunday’s I have a wait list for the 25th and the 22nd . The 22 of April will be a later working day. Interstate with Canine Works is bringing Nick Hodgen back to Albany for a 2 day Protection workshop Jan 27th and 28th. Nick works with handlers and dogs of all levels of experience in Police, Sport IPO and PSA. We have limited working spots left , please call 518 331 5068 for information or to reserve a working or auditing spot. Deposits to hold a working spot are due by Jan 3rd.

Intro to IPO (schutzhund) and dog sports class for the fall will start Wed September 20th 630pm .
We will concentrate on Obedience , with nights that also will have protection and agility, tracking articles and retrieving. 6 week class
