Breeding for conformation is the easiest thing in the world, with just a little bit of knowledge and common sense. I'm still surprised some don't have spectacular results.
What is hard is keeping it true to the breed's performance standard and still make sure to have decent looking dogs with bodies and minds that let them perform in any and everything to the point that some will beat other breeds in their own purposes.
