Friendly reminder that we must have proof of vaccination prior to your pet’s visit to the resort! You can have your vet fax or email these documents, you can email them to us, or bring them PRIOR to your dog’s appointment or reservation. We will continue to make reminder calls and texts as a courtesy but ask that you plan ahead so drop off goes smoothly and your pet gets to enjoy the resort! 🤗

It’s summer time, and you know what that means: APR is BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! Because of this, private plays will be limited and we may not get to all of them in a day. You will NOT be charged for this additional service if staff is not able to complete it. With this being said, we are doing our very best to get ALL of these playtimes done during our operating hours. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Training Tip Tuesday! Controlling thresholds is so important and here’s why: It creates safety, leadership, and ensures a calm mindset when exiting or arriving to an exciting place. In addition, it can decrease reactivity. Consider this - if you can't control the situation and get a simple check in from your dog behind a door, how will you be able to get your dog's attention around bigger distractions? When you incorporate this into your daily routine, your dog will look to you for more guidance and direction! How to know when your dog is calm enough to go through a threshold: ⭐️no fidgeting ⭐️no tension on the leash ⭐️relaxed body language ⭐️able to hold soft eye contact
