Join us congratulating Simon on his graduation day! Simon came to us everyday for 15 radiation therapy treatments for a nasal carcinoma. Simon quickly became a favorite of the staff and loved to talk to us in the afternoons. He also was a big fan of our snacks post radiation therapy. He did a wonderful job and we wish him all the best as he continues on healing journey.🦊 🥇 🥳

Oops! Somehow this cutie pie got missed on his graduation day! This is Quimby, a 14yr old Boston Terrier that completed his radiation therapy last week. Quimby had 4 weekly treatments for a nasal melanoma. Quimby did an excellent job and we wish him all the best as he continues on his healing journey! 😍😍

Lily is super excited to announce that today is her 6th and final radiation therapy treatment for her re**al tumor. Usually we are able to get at least one full face photo- but not with this happy girl. She was jumping all over the place, giving out kisses and saying lets go girls- I don't have time for pictures! This 11 year old lab is Sarge! Today is his graduation day! Sarge came to us for 6 weekly radiation therapy treatments for his soft tissue sarcoma near his elbow. Sarge was all busy and took his radiation therapy treatments very seriously- however once they were done for the day- he would request his treat right away! Stanley would like to announce that today is graduation day! Today he finished his 6th and final radiation therapy treatment for his spinal tumor. While Stanley said he enjoy the long car rides ( from Arlington, Va.) and the treats and snuggles he received here- he is happy to say that on Wednesdays from now on - he will remain at home - relaxing! This cutie is Cabo and he is happy to let everyone know that after 18 radiation therapy treatments for his soft tissue sarcoma on his right leg- he is finally finished! While he highly recommends the snuggles and treats here @ VROC, he will be glad not to skip breakfast anymore. He especially loves the chairs at the front where he can keep an eye on everything going on while waiting for his pick up! Please join us in congratulating him on a job well done! Brodie, a 9 year old Australian Shepherd , is happy to announce that today is his graduation day! He received 5 intense days of Stereotactic radiation therapy for his Meningioma brain tumour. Brodie would come in and head straight to his place in the department and take a nap until his appointment but once it was his turn-- he turned on the charm- giving lots of snuggles and kisses. After 3 intense days of Stereotactic Radiation Therapy for a brain tumor, Rufus is proud to say that today is his final radiation therapy treatment. While the staff here showered him with love, belly rubs and treats, Rufus is glad to be staying home morning! Rufus did an excellent job and we happy to congratulate him on this accomplishment. Today's update is on Pippa- she is back to competing in two flyball tournaments and has her national tournament coming up in October !
(Flyball is an adrenaline-fueled dog sport that involves teams of dogs and their handlers competing against each other to complete a relay race. The objective is for the dogs on each team to jump over a series of four hurdles, retrieve a tennis ball from a box, and then go back over the hurdles to cross the finish line)
We are glad to she is competing again! Win, Lose or Draw- you are WINNER in our eyes!
