I celebrated another year on this planet doing my favorite thing ever...obedience trials! It was a great weekend with friends and my two best boys, Brembo - The Ultimate AmStaff and Fiz.

Brembo - The Ultimate AmStaff decided to really make my weekend special gifting me with his UDX2 title and a nice chunk of OTCH points, including another first in open and utility. I love this boy and all he gives to me. He's truly a fabulous dog. Bernard Sheri one of the judges complimented me on his good looks too. He's a crowd pleaser wherever he goes.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. I was a great one. I am really grateful my hubby and girls understanding & supporting my love of the obedience game while I was gone this weekend.

Oops and we got High Combined today as well. Thanks for the cherry on top Brembo!

Brembo did great this morning and took another 1st in Open B. Clearly, Fiz is not upset I passed him off in the ring to another person. 😅

What a year 2024 has been! My boys are doing the things and making me so proud. This past weekend we attended the Twin Ports show in Duluth all three days. Brembo - The Ultimate AmStaff took High Combined Friday and Fiz took High Combined Saturday. We earned additional UDX legs, OTCH points, OM points and both boys now have all of their 1st places needed for their OTCH. Now we chase points!

We had the best time this weekend and despite some lemons I was around a crew of people that mad it the best lemonade stand ever. Here's to a year of continued growth and success. I am trying to be the best version of myself for these two amazing dogs and am honored to do life with them.

Brembo had a great weekend! He placed 3 out of 4 times this weekend, picked up nice OTCH points and earned High Combined today! He had a 198 in open (3rd place) and 199 in utility (1st place) today. Way to go buddy!

My boys had a pretty good year. I am really grateful for what they've taught me (and how they tolerate me, especially my dumbbell throws). It's pretty amazing to have both invited to this prestigious invite with the best of the best in the obedience world.

Today was not a UDX day. But he still pulled off a high in trial from open b. What a gorgeous ribbon from this club. Liz, our judge was gracious for some pictures. I think all of our expressions summarize the day today. 😅

Woodshire’s Ultimate Performance Machine

Brembo is the 2nd puppy from the left. He is from www.woodshirekennel.us

I hit the jackpot finding Sheri. She’s all about temperament of this breed. Visiting her kennel allowed me to see exactly what I was buying into with this puppy. Brembo’s mother is an AKC champion, Woodshire’s Zeva the Diva of Ruffwood. His grandmother is an import from Ruffwood Kennels in Sweden and the lineage has some incredible scenting ability.

Brembo’s father is MBIS MBISS AKC GCHS CHAMPION, CKC CHAMPION Multiple Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show and Group Winning Alpine LBK Living on the Road, DS, CGC, TKN "Pancho". He is an incredibly accomplished conformation dog taking the breed ring by storm.

Brembo will be filling the legacy of Kilo, my rottweiler who died suddenly from cancer in June of 2018. He has big paws to fill but I am so confident in his ability. We will be competing in conformation and obedience. There will be other sports sprinkled in but obedience is my passion and I fully intend to obtain an OTCH (Obedience Trial Champion) on Brembo.
