We are a kennel-free dog daycare/training facility on five acres of land in Arroyo Grande in San Luis Obispo County. We offer a variety of programs designed to physically and mentally challenge our active dog campers! We take pride in providing comfort and enrichment for dogs in the individual ways they need it. We offer individualized t

ime with your dog that can include ball time, hikes, pool time, group play, solo walks, in home training, or training at our facility, we offer it all, just ask! We keep our play groups small so each dog can receive the personalized attention they deserve and so we can keep an active eye on them to ensure that your dog is playing safely and respectfully with others! We are a doggone good time here at Love Dogs Camp!

Dogs enjoy plenty of play and exercise in the spacious yards at Love Dogs Camp. And after, sometimes you just need a nap. There are no cages at Love Dogs Camp. Better to rest on a comfy couch - together.

Our Story

Love Dogs Camp was established because the owner, Carolyn Leighton, could never find a place she felt comfortable leaving her Golden Lab, Samantha, when dog care or boarding was required.

Love Dogs Camp is designed for dog owners who truly love their dogs and think of their dogs as part of their family. So, Carolyn decided to create a camp where dogs will be loved, get special attention, have fun and be well cared for. Situated on a 5 acre ranch in Arroyo Grande in San Luis Obispo County, with indoor & outdoor space, your dog can spend the day or have a sleepover inside a home on comfy beds with humans committed to loving care of each doggie guest.

ALL dogs at Love Dogs Camp are prescreened and interviewed, providing you the peace of mind that your friend is in a safe environment.
