This is the vet I discovered when Tommy was at his lowest. Her online advice and group of followers helped me save him.

Dr. Eleanor Kellon was recently recognized by the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) “Good Works for Horses,” sponsored by the AAEP Partner Zoetis. This program recognizes AAEP-member veterinarians whose selfless acts of volunteering benefit the horse and those who care for them. Dr. Kellon has contributed to the ECIR group for over 20 years, educating thousands of owners in the care of their equine partners with metabolic disorders. As the recipient of this honor, Dr. Kellon is now eligible for the Good Works for Horses grand prize, which will be decided by AAEP judges and announced during the month of September. This is the one-year anniversary of Tommy’s death. We miss him so much! Tommy had a huge presence in our lives, and there is a big hole in our hearts still. 💔
