The most intelligent parrot species is the African grey. The breed is renowned for being quite gregarious and many develop into incredibly lovely and affectionate animals toward their owners. A neglected or bored African grey, however, is a miserable bird. A sad or furious bird will shriek to express their unhappiness.

My sweet Bertie Boo is doing so well. This morning he actually ate a vegetable!!! So now we know that warm corn is a winner, we can try to incorporate that into my chop to tempt him to eat something actually healthy🥦
Despite being a bit lax with training the past few days due to having my hands full with the hoglets🦔, he was so focussed and amazing with stepping up this morning. He’s such a fantastic bird to work with.
Thank you to everyone who has been liking and replying to my stories💕 It makes me happy to know that other people are enjoying seeing his progress too.
