Our little organization continues to be blessed by the generosity of our sponsors, benefactors and volunteers who make it all possible for us to “pay it forward” and “give back” to our community by annually sponsoring a scholarship at UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. This year’s awards banquet was indeed another proud moment for us. Many thanks to Tad Eberhardt and Sadie Pritts for representing at the event!

Amanda is a shining example of who we, at For the Love of a Horse, believe will make a difference in the lives of the equines and their owners she will care for in the future. Congratulations Amanda!

We had the most fun tonight! Creating masterpieces, making memories and making a difference...I’d say the fundraiser was a success. Cherokee Feed & Seed wants to help evacuees from Hurricane Irma. These special prices are for all evacuees who have come to Georgia to escape Hurricane Irma.
Hay: $2 off/bale except for fescue which is $1 off/bale.
Feed: $2 off/bag all feeds
Shavings: $1 off per bag
Discount on all tack and supplies
Stalls for evacuees available at Chattahoochee Hills and Wills Park. Free delivery.

We're asking customers in our area that have stalls or turnout to take in evacuees if possible, please.

For the Love of a Horse is a gift, our gift. Without each and everyone of our friends, loved ones and people who support us the event, like we had yesterday, would not be possible. We made a difference yesterday in the lives of the most amazing group of men and women, with special needs, from Cherokee County Parks and Recreation. "It is in giving that we receive". It's at the very core of what we do.

To the children, young men and woman who visited us yesterday from Cherokee County Parks and Recreation Special Needs Program...I hope you your experience and interaction with us was just as memorable and extraordinary as it was for us! See you in November, we can't wait! xoxoxoxo

Wow! I'm humbled by what it is we do at "For the Love of a Horse" each day. As I've said before, it isn't easy emotionally, physically or financially, but it is because of testimonials such as this one, for cases we help, that make it all worthwhile.

We have made a big difference in the lives of horses and humans in our community already this year.
