Thanks to the diligent hard work of the fine folks at NYSEG we are open for business today. If you had an appointment yesterday that was missed due to the power outage we will be reaching out to reschedule with you.

Good morning!
Unfortunately we were not immune to the power outages in the area and are currently dark. We do not have an expected restoration time from NYSEG at this time but we will update everyone as we get more information.

UPDATE: NYSEG has provided an estimated time for restoration of 1030pm. With this information we will be closed for today anticipating to reopen for our normal business hours tomorrow at 8am.

Otto and Gus want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We welcome everyone to show off their festive fur babies below!

Due to an unexpected change we will be closing early on Friday December 22nd at 5pm. We apologize for the sudden change and any inconvenience this may cause. We will be closed on Monday, December 25th for Christmas as well and will be opening back up for regular business hours on Tuesday morning, December 26th at 8am.

Despite a road closure affecting Clark Street Road in front of the hospital, we are open for business today! If you are coming from the city of Auburn you are able to drive around the barrels and come to the parking lot. Coming from the other direction you will be rerouted. If you have any questions regarding your scheduled appointments today please call us and we would be happy to help!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at Cayuga Veterinary Services to all of you. We hope that you have a safe and fun holiday spent with the warmth and love of friends and family.
In the spirit of the holiday and to help recognize our staff for their continued efforts year round we will be closing tonight (Wednesday November 22nd) at 5pm and will be closed through the weekend, opening back up at 8am on Monday.

Because it gets awfully spooky in here after dark we will be closing at 5pm on Halloween. We will reopen at 8am for our normally scheduled business hours on Wednesday through to the end of the week.

Good afternoon!

We are experiencing a temporary staffing shortage due to a pocket of COVID-19 affecting a portion of our staff. As a result we will be closing early the rest of the week.
Wednesday we will be closing at 5pm
Thursday and Friday we will be closing at 6pm. We will be opening at 8am as usual each day and intend to return to our normal scheduled business hours next week.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we work through this.

We will also be celebrating a belated Vet Tech week next week to thank our wonderful technicians and assistants for everything they do for our furry friends!

Happy Monday!

We would like to inform everyone that we had 4 staff members test positive for COVID-19 over the weekend. While they are isolating and getting healthy the rest of us will be here to take care of as many of you as we can.

All the staff members you interact with this week at the hospital will have tested negative for COVID, but as a precaution we will be wearing masks when interacting with all of our clients. We recommend that you do the same, though we do not require it.

Thank you for your patience in any scheduling issues that may arise while our staff recovers.

We would like to welcome and introduce the newest member of our Cayuga Veterinary Services family, Dr. Piga! Dr. Piga joins us after spending a few years in Massachusetts but was looking for some Finger Lake flair in her life! We are super happy to have her on the team and we are sure you will love her too! We will be without a Doctor from 230-430pm today (July 3rd) but we will be remaining open with technicians available and our Customer Service team here to answer phones and available to pickup medications.

We will be closed tomorrow in observation of Independence Day. We hope everyone has a fun, safe holiday and we will reopen for our regular business hours at 8am on Wednesday, July 5th.

Today some of our staff went out to Syracuse to help support Recycle-A-Bull Bully Breed Rescue Inc. At The Raven's Nest for thier tattoo fundraiser! We had a lot of fun and of course all the proceeds went to a good cause! We are glad there was a big turn out and hope handsome Bowie is adoptable soon and finds his forever home quickly!

We are a few weeks away but now is the time to start thinking about your dog's well being during the upcoming 4th of July season.
If you are interested in any calming medication please get a hold of your veterinarian as soon as possible to avoid any scheduling difficulty or last minute rushes.
