We had just lost another blonde cocker, Rocky, that we'd had since he was a puppy. When we saw the litter of cocker spaniel puppies, they were all spoken for but one. The puppy had an umbilical hernia. We agreed to give her a home and we had the procedure done. When we brought her home, she got in the laundry basket and had a pair of underwear tangled on her head. That is where she got the nickname, Fancy Pants. Fancy owns every piece of furniture in the house. At sixteen her days are mostly spent sleeping and being wherever we are. 💗

Amira is the first cat I've owned who LOVES human attention. She is more like a dog than a cat. She loves to play and is very curious about what everyone in the house is doing.

My mom's dog got out of her fence this evening. She is very friendly. She doesn't like fireworks. If anyone has seen her please contact her or message me. Her name is Zeva. Thanks

Likes: Going to the lake. Playing fetch with her bulldog sister, Hazel

What makes her unique is her chocolate merle coloring and her blue eyes. How we got her name was because of her sister, Hazel. We wanted them to both have old lady names. Her cute habit is she likes to do zoomies around the living room before bed.

Smith Veterinary Hospital is excited to have Dr. Peralez join our team at the end of May!

She will be practicing as a small animal associate veterinarian alongside Dr. Hunt! Hannah Peralez grew up in Decatur, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2019. She has volunteered here numerous hours when home from school. She completed her externship here at Smith Veterinary Hospital this March and is set to graduate from Purdue University with her DVM degree in May 2024.

She is excited about moving back to Adams County after graduation to be near her family and friends. She has a passion for feline medicine, with hopes of becoming a feline specialist in the future. In her free time, she enjoys discovering new parks with her daughters, reading, and spending time with her family.
