Next classes are just a couple weeks away! I need a couple more dogs in both classes. Feel free to email or PM me!
Also, I will be alternating Intermediate Manners and CGC classes. So, this time it will be Intermediate, and in two months it will be CGC. I’ll also look into running a CGCA class this fall, but I need to gauge interest in that class.

Update: Class had been filled

Come join us for our first ever dog/puppy yoga on February 10th at 1:30 at Barkparkmt in Billings. Our amazing volunteer and yoga instructor, Amy Parsons, will be teaching a 45-minute long beginner yoga class where you can get your zen on and play with some of our adoptable dogs and puppies. It's $10 a person to register with a limit of 25 people. Please bring a mat if you have one, but if you don't, no worries, just indicate that in the comments as well. It will be a fun time with some stretching, some face licks, and maybe, you might just meet your new best friend. 💓

Hey everyone! It’s that time of year again, cold sniffle season. This is true for both pet owners and dogs it seems.

At Bark Park, we have always taken great pride in keeping our facility as clean and disease free as possible. Our facility not only requires current vaccines on all dogs, but we are also extremely observant of every dog in our care. We separate any dog from group if we notice any potential symptoms, parents are informed, and the separated dog is picked up immediately to avoid any contact with others.

Please remember that we will continue to be strict in regard to sending any dog home who exhibits any signs of illness. We appreciate all of our pet parents for understanding why we do this and have received nothing but support and cooperation with our policies.

Thankfully we do have some things in our favor when it comes to dog illnesses in the area: we are a smaller group of 35 dogs per day, we have paused evaluations for new dogs for the last few months originally for scheduling purposes but now it works out for keeping a tight group, and most importantly the cleaning solutions we use are dog specific and vet approved.

So pet parents, keep monitoring your pups closely as you always do, and keep them home if they seem under the weather.

There are No drop off or pick up options for boarding on Thanksgiving Thursday.

Friday will follow regular weekend procedures for boarding.

Canine Enrichment makes these scenarios possible. Canine Enrichment is for all dogs, no matter age, breed or activity level. Canine Enrichment focuses on mental stimulation through puzzles and games and challenges your dog to use both his/her nose and brain. Not only do these games improve your dog’s emotional wellness, but also help tire your dog out, subsequently resulting in a calmer household.

Join Blue Creek Canine’s “Canine Enrichment for Everyone” presentation on Sunday, December 3rd at 1 pm and discover exciting new games and activities for your dog using items you already have in your home.

As an additional “treat”, there will be a few local vendors selling some of their amazing homemade dog training leashes and collars and training treats. All of them making for perfect Christmas presents!!

If you are traveling or simply kenneling your dog at home, I can’t recommend these kennels enough!

Extremely sturdy, indestructible, easy to clean, escape proof (even for a husky), and most of all a very safe place to put your pup.

10/10 recommend. We use them to rotate dogs in and out of group daycare.

In order to not conflict with the scent work trial in June, we've moved our Just for Fun Youth Event. It's absolutely free and we'd love to get more kids interested in this awesome fun sport. We'll also be launching our Junior Scholorship at this event! If you have kids and dogs - come on out! So what's Pet Roulette...? If you donate $20 to the animals of YVAS, we’ll draw your pet. The catch? We’re a whole lot better at caring for animals than we are at drawing them! We have a pool of staff & volunteers standing by, eager to turn your animal into a timeless work of art (or at least make you laugh). You *might* get one of our extremely talented artists, but we’ll be honest… you’ll probably get someone who can’t draw their way out of a paper bag.

We have officially been open for 1 year!

Whether you have visited Bark Park one time while passing through, or you are a regular who comes 4 days a week. I thank every single person for trusting us with their four legged (sometimes 3) family members.

I started this business with the vision of making dogs better in some way. So far, it really has been a dream of a job.

I don’t do it alone though! Please don’t forget about our amazing staff! We do everything as a team, from cleaning bowls to performing evals. Everybody in the building is essential.

Can’t wait to keep improving!
