We are looking for a few foster homes that might be willing to socialize some slightly spicy kittens. They are about eight weeks old and have already been fixed and vaccinated, but they really need to find out that people love them. They can be held but are hissy and scared. Reintroducing 6 month old Benny! Benny recently got to spend about a week with one of SNARFs co founders while his fosters were out of town and he was the best boy! Benny is good with everyone… Dogs, cats, humans, etc. He is potty trained, crate trained, and relatively mellow. Benny loves to hang out all day and isn’t an extremely active dog. Benny is petite weighing only about 20 pounds. Benny comes when called and is very food motivated so training is straightforward and he catches on quickly. Bennys adoption fee is 300 which includes his neuter, deworming, vaccinations, and microchip.

Give a big hello to these four wonderful kittens! In order, they are Carrot, Pumpkin, Coco, and Jupiter! These cats are all males and about 3 months old! They are all very sweet, playful, as well as good with other cats, dogs, and are litter box trained! All these incredible kittens are hopeful to be able to call you their forever home! We were contacted by an animal lover and advocate who has a neighbor struggling with her health. She has this absolutely fabulous 7 year old neutered male named Petey who is living alone in a kennel. She has started working him and bringing him to her house and we would love to help find him a home. He is dog and cat friendly. He is potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is a total love and has so much life left. Please let us know if you could give Petey a forever home 💙

We have another huge thank you from this weekend as well! Chewy & Greater Good Charities thank you for your generous donation of pet beds for our rescue animals. Thank you lakelowellanimalrescue for coordinating the delivery, and PetSmart in Nampa for allowing us to use your space as a landing ground for the truck. ***PLEASE SHARE *** This is a courtesy post, They are not with our rescue, but we could facilitate their adoptions. These lovely babies are looking for a home after their dad passed away. The family member that has been taking care of them can no longer do so. They are 8 year old golden retriever, crosses and have lived together their entire lives. They are fixed and up to date on shots. They are house, trained and good with kids, other dogs and have been around cats. They would love to find a home together.

GREAT BUSINESS PROMOTION OPPPORTUNITY !!!
As you know, a few Idaho local animal rescue organizations (FFAR, PAWS, and SNARF) were selected by a nationally reconized animal welfare non-profit organization to host an all-day conference at the Riverside Hotel, Boise on Saturday, August 10. Four presenters will be sharing their experience/knowledge on the “BUSINESS OF SAVING LIVES” (see attached flyer/agenda).
We anticipate 100 - 150, animal shelter and rescue organization attendees from Idaho, eastern Oregon, and northern Utah. We would like to invite local pet-related businesses who would like to attend and be part of the synergy that happens when animal lovers get together.
IN ADDITION THIS, we are also looking for animal-related businesses that could donate business promotion products, aka ‘swag’. We would love to highlight your business and give our attendees take-aways to remember you in a goody bag.

We hope this post finds you well and still basking in the afterglow of Boise Corgi Fest ☀️☀️ We wanted to take a moment to extend our deepest gratitude to all attendees for your presence and contribution to the tremendous success of the event.
This was our most epic event so far --- we had nearly 1,500 people and over 300 corgis in attendance. While the numbers are still being finalized, with your support, we were able to raise approximately $10,000 for our non-profit partners. Be sure to follow the non-profits to stay tuned on how those funds are changing lives: Take Me Home Dog Rescue, Inc. and SNARF Rescue (Facebook won't let us tag them for some reason).

Scooby! Scooby is a 1 year old mixed breed who is one of the saddest cases we have taken into snarf to date. Scooby came to rescue so malnourished, beaten down, and covered in sores. Fast forward many months, lots of love and nutritious food in foster care and now Scooby is looking for his forever home. Scooby is good with other dogs and dog saavy cats. Scooby is potty and crate trained and absolutely adores his people. Scooby does best with older kids or adults and rides great in a car. He is doing great walking on a leash and so resilient learning about all the new things he has been exposed to since coming into rescue. If you’re looking to give a fabulous dog a second chance please consider Scooby!
