Although we despise their p**p mts & trails!! We love their insect patrol!! 😍

P**p can always be cleaned up! 🤠

The swallows are coming back. They weigh about 20 grams, but they covered more than 5000 km during the flight. They passed through the Sahara desert. They flew over the Mediterranean without having a break. They fought the rain and wind, and the scorching sun. They are extraordinary little beings. . And now they will live under the roofs of our homes and bear the offspring. Embrace their presence. Be kind to them. Respect them. One swallow can eat up to 850 flies and mosquitoes a day. One pair can kill about 1,700 flies and mosquitoes a day. There is no more effective and ecological insecticide ... Make them feel welcome here

Our little long ears fell ill two weeks ago and unfortunately was unable to recover. We said our goodbyes to Miss Peanut this week 💛🌈😢 She brought us 6 years of smiles! We will miss her morning braying for breakfast!

Tears were shed this past week as we said some goodbyes on the farm. 😢 Our giant Flemish bunny “Boogie” passed away peacefully in our arms at the ripe old age of 6 (old for a bunny) 🐰 We also sent “Victor” our resident OTTB over the rainbow bridge at 22.🐴🌈 We imagine they are both frolicking about in the lush green grass of their new world! Animals - “Gods greatest gift” 🌻🐰🐴

Ray says, “Oh hell boy! You don’t even know how to pet a horse!”

I looked around at him like maybe I’d misunderstood. I hadn’t.

Ray said, “You didn’ do nothin’ but scare him! You see him flinch?”

Ray is ridin’ toward me. I didn’t say anything, but I’m thinkin’, “Why, heck! They all do that to start with! He’ll get over it one of these days.”

Ray rode up beside that c**t and looked down at me.

“Think!" (That was one of my daddy’s favourite words too!)

"What’s the first thing he ever felt in his life?”

I shrugged.

“He felt his momma’s tongue lickin’ ‘em off.”

Ray rubbed the c**t along his mane, and the c**t just melted and worked his mouth.

"She didn’t take her tongue and go to bangin’ on ‘em like you did!”

I said, “Oh.”
