ASH KICKIN' RELISH

I have never really cared for relish until I tasted my grandmothers relish. The Ash Kickin' Relish is the name I gave the relish because it is sweet, with a little kick... now that describes My Grandma Ash! She was a special lady, full of love and southern hospitality. I remember her as a kid going to see her and my grandfather on Sundays. Grandma Ash would cook a big Sunday

dinner including fried chicken, mashed potatoes, pies and more. My grandfather always prayed before we ate. I know today it was their prayers that I became a Child of God. It is perfect timing that my dad passed down her recipe for the relish to me. My husband and I started a franchise of Hot Dog carts called J.D.'s Doghouse. We will serve and sell her relish there. It is a honor to make her relish and share it with the world. May she live on through her relish and her family!
