Sending prayers to Dick Jenkins and family.
This man has been a cornerstone in my career and a very close friend for many years. He owned DBL Z Primara, a top ten halter mare who he sent to me for trainining and she became my first regionallly successful western horse and later the dam of SF Georgia, whom Dick bred. SF Georgia went on to become my first US National champion, as Dick continued to support my young and growing career. He has been a long time breeder of some incredible Arabian horses including Midnight Magnum, also one of my US National Champion Western Pleasure JR Horses and sire to many nationally successful horses. Dick believed in me and supported me through many ups and downs in my career and I can’t imagine what my life and business would look like without this man and his family constantly having my back. He has suffered from Parkinson’s disease for many years and has taken a decline recently.
I hope to make it home in time to say goodbye, but if not… Dick, it’s been a wild ride and I’m so glad this crazy life brought us together.
Please send your prayers to their family for peace and grace during this difficult time.
