Well that's a wrap for the 2024 NADD season! Congratulations all of our teams that earned invites this year! We are so proud of the teams that made the trip to Nationals this year, while we had a few experienced veterans along for the ride, most of our teams were attending their very first national and that is no small feat!

Congratulations to Bolt, Crush, Georgie Grace, Re*****on, Rosias, Sophie, and Taz for earning their trip to finals by placing in the top 15 of their divisions!

A very special congratulations to:

Crush for placing 4th in Veteran Senior Hydrodash!

Re*****on for placing 4th in Veteran Junior Hydrodash AND 7th in Veteran Senior Air Retrieve!

Sophie for placing 3rd in Open Senior Air Retireve!

And a special congratulations to Rosias, Georgie Grace and Sophie who all did SO well with the nationals envrionment they swam or jumped themselves out of their respective HD or AR divisions and into the next during finals!

I can't thank Lue Prutzman-Poplaski, Nicole Griffin and Karen Woods for all of their work before Nationals obtaining sponsors, making shirts, and putting together AMAZING goodies bags for all of the dogs! You ladies are amazing!

We unfortunately never got the timing right to grab the whole HDD crew for a picture, but a few of us managed to snag one with our new banner that will be on the dock next year!

Don't forget that we have distance finals for every open, veteran, and lap division tomorrow after the last splash! You must jump in 3 distance splashes to qualify for finals! We will be drawing the raffle winners tomorrow as well! Every splash entered this weekend gets you a ticket in to the drawing!

We will be running a flexible schedule again today incase of weather! We will start junpingbat 8am today and will be here until the last scheduled start time of 3pm! Room for onsite registration in ALL splashes!

We will start distance at 9am for everyone that is here, I accidentally scheduled today like it was an AR day and *just* realized it 🫣 No need to be here early but we will jump whenever yall are ready!

Don't forget that our season finale trial is THIS WEEKEND! We start jumping at 11am Friday and at 8am Saturday-Monday!

We will have FINALS on Monday! You must jump in at least 3 distance splashes during the weekend to qualify for finals! Ribbons and prizes for 1st-3rd in each division for open, veteran and lap!

We will start AR at 630 this evening as scheduled, but if anyone wants to hold off and do their AR once the lights kick on (about 8:30) so it's cooler we will be doing that also! We have room for on site registration in ALL splashes! Last night was a blast and tonight should be even more fun!

It's back to school week!

Lesson scheduling starting this week:
Tuesday-Thursday: 8:30am-2:00pm and 6:00-10:00pm
Friday: 8:30am-12:00pm and 6:00-10:00pm
Saturday-Sunday: 8am-10pm

Rentals are available anytime!

We will be doing daytime lessons next Saturday (8/17) before we start Saturday night jumps for our August Nights trial!

We made it! We just wanted to take a minute this morning to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our competitiors from this past weekend. It was wet and muddy and absolutely disgusting, but everyone stayed patient, showed up, jumped their dogs and had fun! You guys are always phenomenal and we are so thankful for your support!

Parking today!!

Avoid the red areas, specifically around the trees near the gate, and along the ditches. Pull straight through the parking field to the front fence, or make a row of cars that is typically the "second row" closest to the pool while facing the drive.

Jason will be helping everyone get in and out, but please drive slow, avoid the areas that already have ruts and listen to anyone trying to direct you!

It's not very often we get a July trial that doesn't get above 90°!

We have room for on site registration in ALL splashes this weekend. Numbers are fairly small so our goal is to get everyone in and out before (or in between) showers. So far this week we have gotten almost NO rain so fingers crossed it stays that way!

Good afternoon everyone!

A few notes about AR this weekend both for pre-registered dogs and on site entries.

Thursday- we will run (Optional!) AR from 3pm-5pm for pre-registered or on site entries. We will then run HD as scheduled starting at 5pm and jump back to AR as scheduled at 6.

Friday- we will run TEN dogs starting at 10am. These 10 dogs can be pre-registered or signing up on site. Please email me ([email protected]) or text me (832-588-7016) if you want a spot at 10am. We will then run as scheduled for AR at 5pm.

EDIT: Friday 10am spots are FULL.

Sunday- we will run pre-registered dogs as scheduled at 8am. On site entries will run immediately following the last distance splash of the day (approximately 1-2pm). If you are pre-registered and would rather do afternoon AR just let us know.

If you are already entered in distance splashes and would like to rearrange which splashes you are entered in just let us know when you check in and we will get it taken care of!

The pool and dock are okay and open! I am unsure about road conditions getting here as most of the county is still without power due to downed power lines and trees. If coming out today or tomorrow please use caution. Cell service is spotty and my phone *may* have taken an unintentional 30 minute nap at the bottom of the pool this morning 🤦‍♀️ so if you have any issues or want to reschedule anything shoot the page a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Pool is a little dirty and we'll be working throughout the weekend to clean up the branches and things around the pool so please excuse the mess for a few days.... roofing and fencing issues are at the top of the list right now 😅

Upcoming water introduction days! The weekend of March 23-24 we will host a water introduction day/puppy splash day! This consists of starting the morning with the pool drained down so that most dogs will be able to walk in the water. The pool will be filling all day so that by the end of the day most dogs should be able to swim. This event is geared towards any age dog (minimum 4 months/fully vaccinated) that is not already a confident swimmer. We may pair similar age/confident level dogs together depending on the dogs present and all dogs will take turns playing in the pool at various water levels to gain confidence. Due to the rising water level smaller dogs should plan to be here first thing while taller dogs may want to start later in the day. Handlers should come prepared to be soaked and plan on being in the pool! You should bring any floating toys that your dog is crazy about and working on toy drive will be the best way to prepare your dog for this event. We will have a pre-registration available starting Monday February 19th and this event will be limited to 25 dogs per day. Cost will be $30/dog and handlers may bring multiple dogs.
