NADD Event May 17-19 9am till noon (at current entry levels!). PLEASE come out and try this! Try It's offered. Dogs LOVE to cool off in our pool! Also AR the 17th. HD 18 & 19.
NEXT NADD June 7-8-9! Same schedule!!
Lessons available (Swim, Jump, AR & HD!). We had a gal come out that took ONE AR lesson and her dog entered that Friday and jumped 26' I think! so from nothing to that? CRAZY! And that's not the norm but it was pretty darned spectacular! You don't know what's "in the tank" till you try it!

Our 2nd NADD event is completed! THANK YOU to all that came out and played this game with your dogs. We ARE a work in progress and we appreciate your support. I saw many FABULOUS dogs over the course of the last 3 days! I identified some things to change (Like starting at 9AM instead of 8 AM, at least until it gets HOT lol) and most likely running AR and HD FIRST vs setting a time later. And some wording about concluding the event 30 minutes after the last dog on site runs.
Of course I love my GSDs and we had a couple that haven't been before! SO cool to watch them. One was a talker. (I had a talker many yrs ago! She took me back!) and the other, a handsome dog (Atlas I think). I think GSDs are naturals in water. Thank you for coming! Then there were the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels! That was truly spectacular! These little guys SERIOUSLY got into it! There were SO many REALLY good dogs (Mals, dutchies, chessies, aussies, Tollers, cattle dogs and more and a FARM DOG and screaming little Border terrior in the mix ). I think what I TRULY appreciate about THIS sport is that you REALLY compete against YOURSELF and your own best distance, time, etc.... At least I do. I don't NEED to beat somebody elses German Shepherd. Maybe people feel differently in some competitions but I'm happy I don't have to... it's me and my dogs and trying to do a little bitter each time.
THANK YOU AGAIN all that showed up. We were SMALL but WHAT A GREAT GROUP!!!! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

September 6th and 13th (Both Wednesdays), 10-1 Jump Clinics/Practice with John. $40 non students, $35 students. 3x periods per dog in pool. Limit 10 dogs. Increase your distance, timing, find your dog's sweet spot (distance from water) and more. Advanced registration only.

Games to improve your jumping skills! Check back. I'm going to create and post an instructional/demo on what you can do WITHOUT a pool to GREATLY increase your dog's distance. While nothing can replace practicing in a Dock Pool we realize that most of you probably do not have one . It's NOT all about how or how high you throw the bumper! There are many components. One of the elements that helps me be able to help YOU, the dock diving dog owner, is my experience training dogs. Dog training is problem solving! If you bring me a problem with a dog, generally I CAN work out possible solutions. Approaching Pool training this way was no different! Interested? Check back! Have a Wonderful week!

Jump and swim clinics went well today! Saw a LOT of first time jumpers who did GREAT! First time swimmers too.
It is a LOT of fun for this trainer to work with so many different breeds, dogs, ages, humans and work to unlock the key to what works best for each team. It's not a one-size-fits-all kinda thing!

I don't know them but I've seen their work. NADD is going to a "hose like" tug for AR & HD. It's different than this but this is surely close enough for training.

Our first trial went well! Many thanks to my hard working students, husband, son and grandkids and a special thanks to Scott Poteri for his help in ALL areas. He is a great instructor and I learned a lot! There were lots of awesome dogs too. We were blessed with great weather albeit a tad warm lol. We are looking for a future date since it went so well and was so much fun!!! Hope you can join us for the next one.

First time swim lessons! Family fun, all size and age dogs! Great exercise too. (Adult supervision required for children under 18. )
