Announcing the arrival of Carley's pups! Since we are in a heat wave, the theme is based on units of temperature. Everyone is doing well so far ❤️ EDIT: THANK YOU SO MUCH, EVERYONE, FOR ALL THE KIND COMMENTS. It's the weariest time for a breeder right after whelping with the constant vigil over Momma and new babies. I am very sleep starved. It's spirit-lifting to be in touch with the outside world during this two-week shut-in. Thank you 🥰

Today and tonight is the perfect time to get in some all important noise training. Desensitizing our Cavaliers to loud unexpected noises is integral to raising a balanced family member. My silly lovable group is able to be outside in the yard while the neighborhood enjoys their mostly fun tho, yes, sometimes annoying, celebrations punctuated with fireworks. I do this in the middle of thunderstorms as well. And also, when there are rumbling construction trucks around. We go outside and play ball and chase bubbles and play tug-o-war, and IGNORE all sounds as well as fearful reactions, other than excessive barking, which I curb just using a sq**rt bottle filled with water set to stream, and aimed at the muzzle of the disrupter. I know some of you feel the fireworks are the disrupters, but with training our pets do not have to cower in fear or behave outrageously over noises. Training is especially effective when begun at the earliest possible age. Hopefully you took my advice and continued the training I started, from the day you got your pup. If you've waited until now to try and you have an already reactive pet, unfortunately, you have an uphill battle on your hands, but that does not detract from the importance of taking advantage of a perfect training opportunity and trying your best.

This beautiful bench was handmade and gifted to me by Fairhaven Family member Dave Anastasi, who has "Lucy", a tricolor pup out of my Jazzy. It is scribed with my Fairhaven name and the artwork tells the story of our move from Minnesota and resettlement in Arizona. In his words..."Your travels took you from the land of sky blue waters (the 3 blue lines travel upward to follow along the benchtop over to the Arizona artside) to the land of fire and sun, where you put down new roots" (the 3 sand colored lines travel downward toward the ground, completing the path. I mean, that's just so beautiful. So I cried when he explained the meaning, being so filled with awe and joy as I absorbed not only the craftmanship, but also all the thought he put into this very special piece. For ME! I am so thankful everyday for all the wonderful people and families my passion of raising Cavalier King Charles Spaniels has brought into my life. Thank you, so much Dave. My heart is full today. ❤️

Hello! My name is Archie. I love romping and kissing and licking and long cuddles on the couch. Along with playing fetch...(Yes, I bring it back!) I am 13 weeks old and ready for my new home. I am already doggie door and over-night crate trained! I am microchipped, up-to-date on my shots, have seen the vet and got an A+ health report, and my parents are AKC champions/championed lined, and both have been health tested for carrier genes known to Cavaliers and are clear. Please pm my breeder Momma if you are ready NOW for a wonderful fun-loving puppy like me!

It's a BIG DEAL for me to officially retire this girl. My beloved Lovely - Bred By GCHB Fairhaven's She Roxx It In Spades. She's not going anywhere, and will stay with us forever and gets to graduate to the couch, permanently. Today we celebrated her new completely earned status with a spa day. I couldn't part completely from her beautiful mop-top, so she is donning a cute bow that she thoroughly hates, but that I love. She'll win in the end, I'm sure--as she has rubbed it out of her fur once already! Can I get some love for this wonderful, hard working girl, who worked faithfully by my side in the ring (and truly loved doing it!), who gave me a couple of beautiful litters and a few pups to carry on her legacy, and who reminds me each day exactly why I do all of it, the ups with the downs? She is my most proud achievement thus far ❤️ Thank You, Facebooklandia
