Collars are a little slow to be made right now as I'm preparing for my midterms next week and research papers that I need to focus on. The "Brown Dog" and I are traveling to Raleigh, NC at the end of the month for a special dock diving event televised by ESPN. Thinking of having a quick-sale on simple plain biothane collars before then if there's any interest? These can be made fairly quick (and I can put Mr. Brown Dog Boutique to work on those while I study 🤔🤣).

I realized that I started this page without properly introducing myself. My name is Amber, and I live in the Eastern Panhandle of WV. I share my home with my husband, daughter, 2 Labrador Retrievers, 2 Welsh Corgis, and 2 fat house cats.

About 2 years ago, I bought my first "fancy" collar and I was immediately hooked. The style, high quality material, and sparkly designs were awesome! Mercy, the "brown dog" in Brown Dog Boutique, looked so pretty in her blingy and bright colored collars and I loved how durable they were for the sports we play.

Last summer, we added Harbor (my 8 month old lab) to our pack and the reality of affording to play ALL the games with two dogs slapped me in the face 😅 So, I decided to start teaching myself how to make something that I really liked to support my dog sport addiction- collars! For the last few months, I've spent countless hours watching YouTube videos, reading anything I can, talking with other makers, and A LOT of trial and error.

It's taken a long time to feel confident enough in my ability to begin making collars for others. I'm still learning a lot, but I've fallen into a routine now. My current inventory of materials is low because my business is only just starting, but keep checking back with me to see what's going on ❤️
