FOR THE LOVE OF CRITTERS....
For as long as I can remember, I have had a love and compassion for animals. All animals. Wild, domestic, exotic....all of them!! In addition to raising my 2 children, my whole adult existence has pretty much revolved around animals as an owner, advocate, wildlife rehabilitator, rescuer.... Over the course of the last 21 years, I have been the fur (AND FOREVER) mom to 8 dogs (2 currently), more than 21 cats (we have 11 now!!!) as well as a temporary mom to many strays until owners or homes could be found. I also spent quite a few years as a wildlife rehabilitator to a multitude of orphaned baby squirrels, ground hogs, bunnies, skunks, birds...etc., that had for whatever reason been separated from their parents, and needed a little help to advance to adulthood to be released back into the wild. Through out the years, I had been asked many times why I did not have a job working with animals, as that was clearly my passion. One day, I asked myself that same question. I absolutely love and adore animals. I was not happy at my job and my stress level was taking its toll on my health. I decided to start the process to open a pet care business. I filed with the state for a business license and once approved and issued, I started the kennel building process. It really was the best decision ever! Less than a year later, I was able to resign from my job and focus solely on caring for yours and my pets! A little over 2 years later now and I couldn’t be happier. I have taken a lifetime of animal ownership and care and allowed that knowledge to guide me to where I am. Rest assured if I care for your pet, they will be in knowledgeable, loving hands that understands the uniqueness of each individual pet. Caring for pets is certainly not a one size fits all task and my goal is to ensure individual care to all pets entrusted with Critter Love Pet Services. My love of animals continues to save me as it is nearly impossible to have a bad day when you are in the company of critters and nearly impossible for critters to have a bad day when they are in the company of love!!!
