Can you imagine having to surrender your pet so it can live because you don't have the financial means to get them the medical care they need? I hate that this is a rescue policy. (I do understand it but still..) Please share and donate if you are able, so that they can get their dog back!!

Good morning everyone. I wanted to make a post to thank you all for supporting my pet care service to this point. It's been wonderful getting to know everyone and all of your pets.

That being said, I have decided that it's time for me to switch gears a little. If you know me, you know that I have been involved in some level of animal rescue and rehabilitation privately for pretty much all of my adult life. I have decided to go that route moving forward, and will be converting Critter Love Pet Services to Critter Love Sanctuary and Rescue as we move into the new year. I will be filing to become a 501c3 non-profit and just make it official.
My hope is to be able to provide long term residency to cats that have run out of options. (In addition to the menagerie that we already care for.) I also want to become a medical funding source for those that need assistance in order to keep their pets healthy and in their home. I will assist with spay and neuter, vaccine costs, etc. I believe this will keep many cats from ending up on the streets reproducing.. we have to tackle it from all angles.
I appreciate all of the support that has been shown to me and my pet care business and hope that I can count on your support moving forward as a sanctuary/rescue. This is truly where my heart is led to be of service and I will need community support to make this successful and save lives. 💜 Thank you in advance.

P.S. I am NOT accepting boarders currently or moving forward.

Jada is ready for adoption
She is almost 4 years old
She is a Pit mix.

She is good with other dogs. She does not like cats. She is leash trained. She loves car rides. She has separation anxiety.

Her adoption fee is $150 spay and vaccinations are included
If you have other dogs bring them in for a meet and greet.

She is at Berkeley County Humane Society at 554 Charles Town Road, Martinsburg, WV.

Please, please donate to your local rescues and TNR groups..There are so many feral and stray cat colonies and they need your help. The community HAS to get involved to tackle this problem TOGETHER. Don't have funds? Offer your time to feed, trap.or foster. These poor cats are victims of human negligence. They didn't ask for this life. Spay and Neuter your pets to avoid adding to the overpopulation

Update: Prissy’s combo test is negative

Update: We are super excited we have gained another wonderful foster and she is a Vet Tech and she picked up Prissy last night and will be caring for her. She will be taking her to work and updating us! Stay tuned!

People wonder why I work all of these hours and still come home and take care of all of the sick Cats! Meet Prissy I pulled her from the Shelter of course she couldn’t stay there looking like this! The Staff did all they could for her Berkeley County Humane Society reached out to Rescues and no one stepped up because we are full I waited praying another Rescue would step in well that didn’t happen so please welcome Prissy to Cat’s Voice WV land of the misfits! If anyone would like to sponsor this kitten please let me know! With all of our sick cats the last thing we needed was another one but here we are! Did I mention she was found in the middle of the road.

Happy Monday! Its a beautiful day and Spring seems to have arrived! Along with this comes Spring break and vacations, and I just want to let everyone know that I will not be adding any boarders to my current schedule. I will be fulfilling all boarders obligations currently on my schedule, I just wont be adding more. Additionally, if you have reserved a suite but have not submitted a boarding agreement, please do so as soon as possible. I will no longer be holding a space any longer than 7 days without an agreement being in place. Thank you

FOR THE LOVE OF CRITTERS....

For as long as I can remember, I have had a love and compassion for animals. All animals. Wild, domestic, exotic....all of them!! In addition to raising my 2 children, my whole adult existence has pretty much revolved around animals as an owner, advocate, wildlife rehabilitator, rescuer.... Over the course of the last 21 years, I have been the fur (AND FOREVER) mom to 8 dogs (2 currently), more than 21 cats (we have 11 now!!!) as well as a temporary mom to many strays until owners or homes could be found. I also spent quite a few years as a wildlife rehabilitator to a multitude of orphaned baby squirrels, ground hogs, bunnies, skunks, birds...etc., that had for whatever reason been separated from their parents, and needed a little help to advance to adulthood to be released back into the wild. Through out the years, I had been asked many times why I did not have a job working with animals, as that was clearly my passion. One day, I asked myself that same question. I absolutely love and adore animals. I was not happy at my job and my stress level was taking its toll on my health. I decided to start the process to open a pet care business. I filed with the state for a business license and once approved and issued, I started the kennel building process. It really was the best decision ever! Less than a year later, I was able to resign from my job and focus solely on caring for yours and my pets! A little over 2 years later now and I couldn’t be happier. I have taken a lifetime of animal ownership and care and allowed that knowledge to guide me to where I am. Rest assured if I care for your pet, they will be in knowledgeable, loving hands that understands the uniqueness of each individual pet. Caring for pets is certainly not a one size fits all task and my goal is to ensure individual care to all pets entrusted with Critter Love Pet Services. My love of animals continues to save me as it is nearly impossible to have a bad day when you are in the company of critters and nearly impossible for critters to have a bad day when they are in the company of love!!!
