GUERNSEY COUNTY DOG of the WEEK
Meet TATER, a happy tan and black mix breed dog who always has a smile for a new friend and is definitely an All-American dog.
He came to us as a stray at Thanksgiving of last year. No one has come looking for him which is no fault of his.
Tater is around 5-6 years old and about 50 pounds. He is good in his kennel and easy to handle. He loves people, loves to be petted, walks easy on a leash, knows a few basic commands and is treat motivated. This guy definitely deserves a home and would make a great family pet. Please consider visiting Tater or any of his friends here at the shelter. Call 740-432-2219 for information on Tater or friends.

Hans is a beautiful 4-year-old German Shepherd mix. He came to us last fall as a stray and was never claimed. Hans possesses that high intelligence known to his breed. He learns fast and loves to play with toys in the play area. He walks well on a lead, but could be a puller if allowed.
Hans is capable of so many things and will do well when he bonds with you. He prefers to be "The Only Apple of Your Eye".
If you are the right match for Hans, you will find a loyal forever friend. He is waiting for you at the shelter.
Please give him a visit at The Guernsey County Shelter or call 740-432-2219.
