I am bursting with pride as I take a moment to congratulate my talented staff. This past weekend the girls competed in Colorado Springs in a grooming competition at The Rocky Mountain Expo. Sam competed with her hand stripped Miniature Schnauzer named Timber and received a third place in division B. Laura competed with her poodle Jaz and they received a 1st place in division B! Both girls have worked very hard towards this achievement and I couldn't be more excited or proud. 💖💫🙌🏆

I also want to congratulate Kelsy. Kelsy was a committed employee at FF for the past 18 months who recently began her own business. Kelsy competed for her first time this weekend and received 1st place in the dirty pup competition! 🙌

Tater Tot my personal Bichon was used as a demo dog in a Bichon pet trim class. He looks adorable and helped lots of other groomers learn the Bichon. 💜✂️

All three of these girls have been a pleasure to mentor and watching them grow and hit their goals has been very rewarding for me. Good job ladies! I can't wait to see what the future holds for all of you!

During fireworks, it's important to prioritize the safety of our furry friends. Here are some tips to help keep them safe:

1. Keep your pet indoors: Create a safe and secure environment for your pet by keeping them indoors during the fireworks. This will help reduce their exposure to the loud noises and prevent them from getting scared or running away.

2. Create a cozy space: Set up a comfortable and familiar area for your pet to retreat to during the fireworks. This can be a quiet room with their bed, toys, and favorite blanket to help them feel safe and secure.

3. Provide distractions: Distract your pet from the noise by turning on some calming music, playing with them, or giving them interactive toys. This can help redirect their attention and ease their anxiety.

4. Ensure proper identification: Make sure your pet is wearing a collar with an identification tag that includes your contact information. In case they do manage to escape, this will help ensure a safe return home if they get lost.
