Taking showers with a litter of kittens is always interesting but this is the first time I found a kitten inside my robe!!
Well, sadly Alina’s little girl didn’t make it. She went downhill quickly. It’s known as “failure to thrive” and happens more often than I care for. But looking positively, here are her two other chunky babies doing great. The boy (lighter face) is a thumb sucker and I happened to catch him last night.
Things aren’t looking too good for one of Alina’s babies. One little girl is much smaller than her siblings and she isn’t nursing. I saw she was pushed to the side but didn’t know if it was intentional or not. Mothers do that when they know a baby is t going to make it. She is also not keeping her body temperature up. I have added the puppy heating pad so she can get her temp up and I am now feeding her formula every hour. Not much more I can do. 🙏🙏
The other two seem to be chunky and feisty, fighting over the same nipple when there are plenty to pick from!! 🤦♀️
