Dino Buddies hosted our infamous Snake Handling workshop with @girlscoutswoh ! CEO and Founder, Tiffany Johnson, learned some new handling skills at her venomous certification course back in April. Our goal was to share those new skills with the Girl Scouts this year as they learned to use a snake hook with our ambassador snake, Theo the Ball Python (nonvenomous). Our mission is to spread knowledge and information to the next generation of wildlife heroes and enthusiasts! Dino Buddies offers many fun, exciting, and hands-on encounters for kids of all ages!#womeninbusiness #womeninstem #wildlifeeducator #dinobuddiesllc #zoologist #womensupportingwomen #girlscouts #snakehandler
Dino Buddies presents Animal Science Career Exploration Event!
In partnership with Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, Dino Buddies hosted an Animal Science Career Exploration Event!
About 1 year ago we were hosting our animal handling workshops when a troop leader asked if we would create an encounter that showed the girls all the different jobs that are available to them in the animal science industry. That thought immediately took me back to the time I was a child and knew I wanted to work with animals but wasnโt sure what my options were. We gladly accepted the challenge and designed an expo where we invited real life animal science professionals for the Girl Scouts to meet and ask questions. We invited a veterinary technician, researcher, and zookeeper!
We also provided them with resources on jobs that are available.
This event was a huge success and we look forward to hosting it every year. Our hope is that we will continue to inspire these kids to pursue their passions and follow their dreams!
How time flies! 2 years ago today Dino Buddies went on our first official encounter! Since our first encounter in 2021, we have brought our animal ambassadors to meet thousands of kids in the Cincinnati tri-state area. We are thrilled to continue our mission to excite, inspire, and educate with worthwhile animal encounters. Contact us today to schedule your WILD encounter!

After a long week of encounters, Louie our #beardeddragon is taking it easy and enjoying her blueberry spring salad. Did you know blue berries are Louieโs favorite food? They are a great source of vitamins and minerals essential to her over all health. However, due to the sugar content she can only have them occasionally as a treat! Her main food items are mixed green salad, vegetables, and dubia roaches! #summer #asmr #reptilelover #dinobuddiesllc #salad
Dinner time with Millie the African Giant Millipede!
Take a look at Millie, our African Giant Millipede, as she enjoys some fresh zucchini. While youโre looking at her you might notice tiny bugs crawling all over her. Those are her mites! And we really mean HER mites. They never leave her bodyโeven when youโre holding her!
The mites form a symbiotic relationship with the millipede. They help keep Millie clean in exchange for food and protection. Their relationship is so strong that once Millies dies the mites will die as well.
Talk about best friends for life!
Be on the look out for Millie when you book your next Dino Buddies encounter!
