WIP of the Day 🚧 AND new product! Sort of… So I apparently designed these cat toys too small and have to start over, and they need some refining, but I wanted to share the process. I did a bunch of little illustrations of things that go together and going to stuff them with catnip + silver vine. They’re going to be sold in sets of 2-3 and available this spring! 🐈‍⬛🖤

We are beyond thrilled to launch our Pet Subscription Boxes!!! Years in the making, we are so excited to bring these to you! Each box will contain an adjustable and reversible bandana (or mini cat kicker for the kitties), bow tie and collar. The fabrics are exclusive to the box, so only subscribers will have this print. Our goal is to bring you fun patterns and accessories you won’t see anywhere else!!

First up in this shipment will be a unisex Spring theme and will be capped at 10 boxes total. ** Prints will be chosen once all orders are in. Bow tie and collar will match. Bandana and cat kicker will match.

Stitches + Sass will make the bandana, bow tie & cat kicker. And we are so thrilled to be partnered with Project Warmth who will make the collar!

Orders go through February, 10th and ship mid March - early April.

Several years in the making and Subscription Boxes are almost here!! 🥳🙌 I will be opening orders on January 29th for the Spring box and leave it open until February 10th. Shipping will be mid March- early April. For this first round, we’re capping it at 10 boxes. Once things get going, I’ll open it to more!

We are partnering with my bestie and the amazing Project Warmth for the collars! Stephanie makes amazing collars, leashes and pet accessories. So super excited to have her as part of the first box. Give her a follow if you already don’t!

Fabrics will be exclusive to the boxes only. That means the subscribers will be the only ones to have these prints!!

Lastly, the first box will be simple. It will be a unisex Spring print (tbd once quantities are set) and include the following :
Dog box- bandana, bow tie and matching collar
Cat box- bandana or bow tie, mini cat kicker and matching collar (maybe opening options for all 4 if you’re interested?)

T h e N e w L o g o is H E R E!!!! 🥳 and I cannot be more excited about it!!! My old logo was designed when I first started the business in 2016. I whipped something up quickly and was done. Now that my business is more focused on pets, I wanted to make sure to have a dog in the logo. And, that dog is my own Stan! Stan is the new face of Stitches + Sass and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. All the thanks to for designing it! Hope you all love it too 🖤

🚨 Just released the first bandanas of the year on Etsy! 🚨

First up is from my fave city- New Orleans! I got this fabric there a few years ago and have been waiting to release it for Mardi Gras. One side are the actual manhole covers of New Orleans. And can’t forget the beads on the other side!!

Second is a hidden cryptid, alien, robot and mythical creature bandana on the Willow Pattern. That’s a traditional blue and white china pattern, but this one is way more fun!

Third is a vintage inspired floral perfect for Spring! Bold flowers in blue for one side. The other are tiny dainty flowers.

Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet StanLee (aka Stannie aka Stanford aka Stanual)😘💙🩵🥳 He’s been in our lives since June and it’s been quite a ride. After 15 years with Marley, I knew I would never be able to replace her- and I didn’t want to. But Stan is just as sweet with an ever bigger heart and him being here has only made things that much better.

His current loves are: ball, treats, food, walkssssssss, food, his cats, food, zoomies, ice and food.

His hates are: when street lights come on, groundhogs, walnuts that fall into the backyard, the mail carrier (but UPS and Amazon are ok 🤷‍♀️), dremels, the vacuum cleaner, smoke and any noise he can’t see the source of.

Here we go! I’ve been wanting to do this for years and it’s time!! To start, I’m thinking about doing quarterly subscription boxes. Dog boxes will include your choice of bandana and bow tie size. I’ll also be including a collar and treat bag from local handmade makers. Bow tie and collar will match exactly. Bandana will be the same or coordinate. I’ll also do a cat box with a cat kicker, bow tie, bandana and treats. Patterns will be according to the season. Just to get an idea, who would be interested?!? 🤩🐶🐾🐱

I’m gonna be real real for a minute. For me, 2023 was a doozie. A lot of bad things happened and I wasn’t able to do with the business what I had planned. I didn’t update Etsy much, didn’t get as much made as I wanted and didn’t make the new products. But it was simultaneously the best year ever also, so moving forward into 2024, I have a much better appreciation of it all. And I have a feeling it’s going to be a game changer.

Last year I wanted to change everything. New booth display, new logo, new products… This year it’s happening. I’ve got so much in the works and I think you’re going to like it all. For starters, new booth display has been planned and in action. The logo is being designed. And I’m adding more variations of cat kicker toys, new interactive dog toys, and getting into custom items. Think dog tags, mugs, jewelry & custom food placemats. I also am going to do human shirts in the future. And of course there are approximately 52,847 new fabrics are waiting to be cut for bandanas and bow ties.

With all that said, what do you want to see from me??? What new products do you want? What fabric patterns do you NEED? I love this business and all of the pets and people I’ve met because of it. I do this for me, but I also do it for you, because you guys drive me. Tell me what you want! Thank you for always being so supportive and being the best customers ever. I can’t wait to see what’s next 🖤
