This is about half of our personal stash we will heat with this year.
We got plenty left to sell this year too. We don’t know how long inventory will last but as of now we still have plenty in stock.
How much wood do you burn per year to heat your home?

05/07/2023

On Saturday 27th of May who would be willing to come out and split wood? Bring a wood splitter and a chainsaw or a axe(all at your own risk). All the wood cut and split will be placed in a big pile and given away to veterans that heat with wood and have a need for next years heat. Alternatively if you know any veterans that heat with wood and are in need share this so they can come get some. It’s pick up only, no delivery provided.
The green wood cut and split now will be seasoned perfect for next winter.
Proof of veteran status/service required.
Please don’t come take the wood if your not using it to heat your home next year.

While supplies last, with every Face Cord purchased you’ll get a free large chunk(s) of high quality Fat Lighter.
What is Fat Lighter? It comes by many names but essentially it’s formed when species of Pine die and the sap collects in the stump and knots if a tree. As it coagulates and solidifies if becomes a water and rot resistant, highly flammable, all natural fire starter. It also smells great. No need to burn all at once just split or break off chunks with a hatchet. You’ll be suprised how long it lasts

Know when the best time to get fire wood is? Before you need it.

Look at the size of that snake… I mean earth worm, in our composted mulch. This is the mulch you need for your permaculture projects/gardens. For reference my hand is 7 inch’s long.
This is technically an invasive species. It is the Asian Jumping worm. They eat a lot of litter and produce wonderful castings and fertilizer for your plants; but as a invasive species, we are no longer comfortable selling our composted mulch until further research has been made on their benifits to impact ratio. We will still deliver uncomposted raw wood chips for free (they go straight from the tree to the chipper to you), and in the mean time we’ll stick to using these locally on our farm. If you’re in Clarksville and have huge worms in your yard, now you know what they are.

03/27/2022

We have updated our fire wood prices.
Oak is 85$ a Rick picked up
Mixed is 70$ a Rick picked up
Bulk discounts are available on 4 or more ricks.
There is a 25$ minimum delivery fee for in Clarksville. We will not travel further that 35-45 minutes from the farm to deliver unless it is a bulk order.
Won’t stack for you
Will also sell in fractions of a Rick still.

Our fire wood is produced using locally sourced, up-cycled tree debris from our residential and commercial tree service operation. This would have other wise been wasted and added to the waste stream for Clarksville but is instead a ecologically/environmentally green way of producing heat for your home or your s’mores. None of the trees removed were removed for fire wood production and were only removed as necessary or required by clients for their needs or safety.

Fire wood is available for pick up! Delivery upon request but there is a delivery fee of $25-$40 any where within 20 miles from farm depending on distance and quantity but the minimum fee is $25.. We have Face Cords for 75$, Cords for $225, 1/2 Face Cord for 50$, 1/4 Face Cords for $25. For all intents and purposes a face cord is a “rick” and the two terms are interchangeable units of measurement. A full cord is a 4ft wide x 4ft tall x 8ft long stack.

Meet some of the Girls. These chickens roam free range around the farm every day providing natural pest control. We supplement their feed as necessary but they eat all manner of insects, grasses, seeds, plants and vermin and turn them into delicious eggs which we are taking orders for now. You can definitely tell the difference in taste and between these and store bought eggs. We think the yolk is creamier and the egg yolk itself is much deeper in color. They will be cleaned and sold with the bloom intact requiring no refrigeration. We can sell eggs that are washed (requires refrigeration) if requested.
Eggs are $4 a dozen and available for pickup. Limited quantities available at any given time so first come first serve.
