It’s been awhile since I’ve done a post about me the trainer and owner here at The DDA.
So for those that know me hi again! And for those that don’t…. I’m Korri I’ve been professionally training dogs for 10 years. Before that jump I was a 911 dispatcher.
Dogs have always been a passion of mine and so I decided to take a plunge and get some education and make it my career!
I started The Dapper Dog Academy in 2020 wanting to set a better standard for care and training dogs after seeing what is out there in the world. I care for client dogs like my own and I do my very best to make sure they get to live their best lives with their owners!
I love helping owners over come struggles and giving them hope when their dog can be a little much or they just need to communicate with them better.

When I’m not training dogs I am reading books or playing video games and being an introvert 🤣.

My personal dogs do modeling work for and we also play around in different dog sports! I will be getting more active in the sport world this year.

This rescue does great things for bulldogs! And as many of my clients know I love little bulldogs and this is a terrible situation this rescue is helping with. Feel free to share and let’s see if we can help a little with these vet costs 🐾❤️

Prayers are needed for Frankie Avalon, one of the two dogs we pulled from a local shelter yesterday. He’s going into surgery to have an eye and a toe removed. Because of his current state, we’ll have to neuter him at a later date, when he’s healthier. The two dogs were found as strays on the side of a highway, but the shelter and vet staff members believe both could have been used as bait dogs due to their wounds. 😢
