Hey everyone, we have been really busy getting ready for the garden season. I've got the tomatoes and strawberries all in the greenhouse. I've put in pickling cukes, regular cukes , zukes and yellow squash. The beans are really taking off and we added 300 asparagus plants. We tried sugar baby watermelon's last year and they did well. So this year we added more of those , today we put in our hydroponic lettuce and celery. I'll take pics and post this weekend. The list is pretty endless and the days seem the same.... endless. There is an end in sight, we almost have everything planted all I have left is the cabbage and about 50 hot pepper plants. Oh I forgot that we are trying sweet potatoes this year too . If they work out we might add those next season. The blueberries look absolutely beautiful and the raspberries do as well. It should be a banner crop of both, plus the peach trees are loaded . God truly has blessed us this season, I can't say enough how he has provided over and over. From the trenchers from Brian Davis and Eric Mead to the fridges we needed for cold storage from Frank and Kim Barber. A huge thank you to everyone for your continued support. Hope you all have a great summer and God bless.

It's funny how a farmer spends countless hours getting the land ready, from discing all the way to planting. He spends $1000's of dollars on fuel, equipment, and repair bills. He spends many hours praying for rain or sunshine instead of sleeping. He sweats like no other job will make you. He works like most people wouldn't. He gets yelled at and cussed out by people who get caught behind the tractor traveling down the road, and he spends many times of the day wondering if it's worth it! The deer, coyotes, hogs, c***s, gophers, grasshoppers are just a few pests to contend with!! He does all of this for what??? Ask yourself, "Why would he do that?" The answers are all around you. The plate of food sitting in front of you, the clothes on your back, the shoes on your feet, and the last answer is the one that puzzles most people. It's the dust, love for agriculture, and the satisfaction of knowing he has done his part at the end of the day! I'd like to thank all the farmers out there who help make the world go round!

God bless our farmers !

It doesn't always look like much from the outside but the effort is just as excruciating even on a small scale. It is a blessing to be able to provide for our community. We are so thankful for our customers and even have the privilege to call many of them friends. From our family to yours, thank your for a successful season.
