Today we're celebrating the beauty, charm, and wonderful personalities of black cats!

Despite old myths and superstitions, black cats are just as loving, playful, and deserving of forever homes as any other cat. In fact, many are known for being affectionate, curious, and full of character.

We’re also sharing a special photo of one of our patients, a tiny and absolutely adorable black kitten named Peach. She was such a sweetheart for us and even let us dress her up for pictures—she’s wearing the cutest Mickey Mouse-inspired black and purple ears! 🐭💜🖤

🐾 **Furbaby Friday Feature** 🐾

This week we're featuring JJ, a 5-month-old Golden Retriever rescue from Golden Retrievers in Need (GRIN). 💛

JJ came to see us for his exam and neuter, and he quickly stole our hearts with his happy personality and sweet nature. Like many rescue pets, JJ has a unique story. He was born with a congenital spinal malformation, which causes some weakness in his hind legs, but it certainly doesn't slow down his puppy spirit!

After a thorough exam and surgery, JJ is doing well. We'll continue to monitor him as he grows to make sure he stays as happy and comfortable as possible. With the love of his rescue, future family, and veterinary team, he's got a bright future ahead.

Thank you, JJ, for reminding us that every pet deserves a chance to shine. We can't wait to watch your journey unfold! 🐾💙

Today we're celebrating the incredible diversity of lizards, from tiny geckos to majestic bearded dragons and colorful chameleons.

While we may not see them here in our clinic every day, we still want to take a moment to celebrate these amazing scaly companions—and the special people who care for them.

If you share your home with a pet lizard, remember that proper heating, UVB lighting, nutrition, and habitat setup are essential for keeping them healthy and thriving.

Every species has unique care requirements, so be sure to provide an environment that helps your scaly companion live their best life.
