Always save your coffee grounds. And egg egg shells. Smash or grind your egg shells. Mix with the coffee grounds. Spread them around your berries and roses. Or simply add them to your potting mix. This helps the plants get calcium phosphorus and potassium they need for strength in blooming and fruiting. The longer you do it the better your results.
