We had our first night of FUNDAMENTALS 101, everyone did a very nice job! This is a very nice group of dog/handler teams!

This was Wanda's & LadyBugs second lesson with us, we are working on her leash manners and not pulling her mom everywhere she wants to go.

This fluffy butt got a bath and blow out at TSC! We have some work to do on his trusting with his nails, but we will get there.

Today we tested/worked Angel around distractions of another dog. She had a couple "uh ohs" but that is totally normal and expected! She has improved so much over the last 30 days, she goes home this week, I know her parents and sister miss her greatly!

We have 3 spots available in our FUNDAMENTALS 101 Basic obedience class starting tomorrow (8/21 at 630pm).

We also have 2 spots available in our BEYOND BASICS obedience class starting (8/22 at 630pm)

Both classes are held in Coleman at the gamily center (4839 N Coleman Schools Dr, Coleman, MI 48618)

Classes run 6 weeks, dogs MUST be UTD on age appropriate shots.

Cost of class is $125

Buddy here got a bath and nail trim. He did very well for all! His nails were alittle over grown so his quicks were longer, so we will be putting him on a 2-3 week nail trim schedule to bring his nails to proper length. Even so, he is no longer clicking as he walks across the floor!

Angel working off leash and recalled beautifully!

She also got to work with my youngest son and showed off how far her leash manners have come.

Some videos from last week, everyone was working on recall on the long line. They all did great, and recalled even with all of the distractions.

We have BnT openings starting August 26th! Dog over 6 months of age must complete an orientation visit to start!

We are now offering baths, blow outs and nail trims for low/medium maintenance dogs! We can pick up you your dirty pup and bring them back clean!

Short/single coated dogs: Bath, brush and nail trim - $35

Medium/double coated dogs: Bath, blow out, brush and nail trim - $55

Long coated dogs: Bath, sanitary trim, blow out, brush and nail trim - $75

Nail Dremel - $10 (added to above baths)

Mileage fees do apply.

At this time, we are not able to do any dogs that need special cuts.

All dogs must be approved before they can be scheduled for a grooming appointment.

All dogs MUST be up to date on vet recommended shots.

When you socialize your dog, you don't let them meet every dog they see, that is how you get aggressive and reactive dogs. Proper socializing is your dog being out in public and being able to ignore everything and everyone and giving their attention to their handlers. When you go out into public, you don't walk up and talk and play with every person you see. You have friends, same for you dog. If you are in a single dog house hold, having 1-2 doggie friends are good. If you are in a multi dog house hold, there is absolutely no reason for your dog to have "friends".

Today was Harleys first walk up town, he was very interested in seeing all the sights and smells. He needed several reminders but, overall he did very well!

We have started to look into how we would beable to do online/zoom lessons to beable to help more people! Will post more information once we have it worked out!

Zero and I worked on basic obedience and some of his tricks as part of his mental stimulation last night.

Training doesn't have to be "job", make it fun (for you and the dog), keep it short and have fun with it. This was our training session last night. They don't have to be long, 5-10 mins here and there and you will have the dog of your dreams!

Angel is back to finish out her package and she is doing pretty good. She is working on beable to hold place/down thru household distractions, as well as her leash manners. We also worked on some confidence building at the local play ground!

Today the kids got to help Archie (and his Dad, Mayank) work on his down stay with high distraction, he a couple moments he just had to try to chase, but he got it and did great!

We also worked on proper greetings with kids and having to control his excitement.

The kiddos wanted to help walk the dog (our family dogs) on our nightly family walk. All pups did well for their miniature handlers.
