Growing up in Kansas, Zeke worked with cattle and rode horses. His love for horses, cattle & competition has lead him to be an avid student of cutting.

Zeke has had many goals throughout his professional career, the highest one always remained the same, he wanted to be inducted into the Hall of Fame by the age of forty. In 2010, Zeke was inducted into the NCHA Open Rider Hall of Fame. Just a few Accomplishments:

More awards being given out here at the Metallic Rebel Southern Cutting Horse Futurity. Congratulations to Ricky Lewis, the CHAMPION of the Limited Non Pro Futurity, riding “Elvishaslefdabildin”. Ricky had the high cumulative score from both rounds (212/208) giving him a total score of a 420. Mark received the Champions check of $1,768.00. Reserve Champion was James Murray riding Ester Abba. While the cutting crew was busy in Music City our Reined Cowhorse group excelled back home at the Tennessee Volutneer Ranch Horse Show. Huge congrats to Dolores Cain who WON the Bridle Spectacular (pictured sitting her stop like a boss) and Summer Kelley who WON the limited Non Pro both days. Proud our Wednesday night cow games are paying off.

We had a great show at the Music City CHA this weekend. The crew finished today in style with Zeke and Birdie marking a 76 for the win out of the last slot in a tough 25 Novice class, Burke Hendrix and his horse Uno winning both the 2 Limited and the 50 Amateur while Amy Anderson and Ricky Lewis both took home checks. Our youth also showed out this afternoon with Maggie Wilson winning the senior youth on Jett Fuel and Taylor Allen placing second in the junior on CR Tough Rosita. Blessed to be able to do what we love in such great company!

Huge congrats to Ricky Lewis and his mare Birdie on their outstanding Cotton Stakes! They placed 5th in the Classic intermediate Amateur and Reserve in the unlimited amateur. Good to see all that hard work paying off.

The final results are in, big congrats to all our World Finalists! Ricky Lewis in the 50 Amateur, Katie Boebel in the 5 Novice Horse Non Pro, Hannah Weimer in the 25 Novice Horse Non Pro, Dualin Cat Lena owned by Roger Smith in the 25 Novice Horse, and Puddyisaspuddydoes (aka Snoop Dawg) owner by Shelley and Deborah Smith in the 5 Novice Horse. So proud of how hard everyone worked this year and how well you represent Entz Cutting Horses!

It was cold, wet and muddy but SEMO Cutters put on a great show at Flickerwood Arena in Jackson,MO! The turnout was great and the Entz Cutting Horse crew finished strong with several horses and riders qualifying for World Finals. Heading home to reload and travel south for the Futurity and World Finals. See you all in Fort Worth!

We had a great week in Graham, TX! Finished up strong with Katie Boebel on Moriahs Kitty Hawk, Hannah Weimer on Blu Ray, and Puddyisaspuddydoes all taking home circuit awards in the 5 NP, 25 NP, and 5 Novice horse classes respectively. Awesome show with great competition. Everyone pulled checks in the classes we’re hauling for (looking at you Ricky Lewis) and I am super proud of everyone. Big thanks to PK Cutters for hosting such a great cutting. We also had strong representation in Mississippi and Kentucky with Jeremy Bylo and Paint Me a Rey winning the 35 Novice in Shelbyville and Jordan Thompson and Maddie winning the Non Pro at Forest, MS.
