All my life I was involved with animals, at a young age I volunteered with a local Humane Society in Germany. My grooming carrier started in 1996. It started out as a hobby. I was always intrigued by the end result of a groomed pet. From there it became a carrier as a Salon manager for 10 years. Within

those years I was very instrumental with teaching and guiding new or novice groomers. I further developed my skills by attending grooming seminars with the National Grooming Association. This helped expanded my knowledge about specific breed cuts. Along the way I learned about pet safety during grooming and bathing services. In 2008 I joined the wonderful team at 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital. In July 2012 I attended the PetMassage Training and Research Institute in Ohio. I learned how your pet will benefit from a massage. After the training I became a member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork (IAAMB)

January 8th 2024 I received my certification as a Pet Aesthetician CPAEa. I seen so many animals with skin problems during my carrier, now I am specialized in skin and coat restoration using high quality and safe products for your pet. For your convenience you can drop your pet off before work and pick up after work, during our office hours. During the stay with us we let all the animals out to relieve themselves. I promised to share progress images of my dog's skin issues. The top picture depicts day one, while the bottom one shows day five. The skin is no longer inflamed, and new hair growth has already begun.

When encountering skin issues, it's crucial to stay vigilant and proactive.

Allergy season has arrived, and although my dog typically experiences flare-ups in the fall, I noticed a scaly spot yesterday. After treating her, I'm amazed at how much better it looks after just one day.

The dog in the picture has sebaceous adentinits it is non curable but the groomer who has done the case study could restore the coat and maintain the skin an coat.

This dog was diagnosed by the Vet with a bacteria infection and he had about 8 bathing sessions.
These skin problems are not a quick fix sometimes I have to adjust the recipe, I don't use always the same recipe for all dogs.
In cases like this the dog need to get bathed more frequently.

Keep your pups warm.

I know we don't have snow here but some areas have snow.
Here are some tips

🐾Dress them in a doggy sweater or jacket.

🐾Protect their paws with booties.

🐾Watch for signs of discomfort like shivering.
Keep walks shorter in extremely cold conditions.

🐾Dry them off thoroughly after walks.

Remember, every dog is different, so adjust based on your pup's breed and preferences.

Starting 1/25/2024 and every Thursaday after that I will have special appointments available for One-on-one grooming.

What is one- on - one grooming ? Typically refers to a personalized grooming session where I can focuses on a single pet at a time. This individualized attention allows for a more tailored and attentive grooming experience, ensuring the comfort and well-being of the pet. It can be a less stressful environment compared to group grooming settings.

The duration can indeed vary based on factors such as the pet's size, coat type, and overall condition. Providing an estimate time of 1 - 1 1/2 hours for flexibility to address the specific needs of each pet. If you have any other questions or if there's anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask!

That is me, I will try to groom difficult dogs but there is a point where you have to stop and try again at a later time. Animals have bad days or they are maybe in pain and I will rather just try on an other day again but give them a positive experience with me.

I am so grateful when I see happy customers and they thank me, because their pet pet is feeling better and looking better. Skin and coat therapy does work if done right 🐾❤. This little Yorkie had skin problems and hardly any hair left her skin was hot, inflamed and smelling bad.
But we have it under control now.

My son found this dog about 5-7 weeks ago, very skinny and with skin problems we started the skin tharpapy with my products, it helped healing the the hot spot within 3 days hair is growing back in on his neck.
Feet are looking so much better and on his left side he had 3 huge spots they were getting pretty bad.
The hair is finally growing back.
We also noticed him running around for a long time in the grass will irritated his skin and he starts licking his feet, we suspect a grass allergy.
To prevent him licking his feet he is wearing a cone at the moment. He also was on a low dose of antibiotics the last couple of days because he got neutered.
The poor little man sure has a happy home now and is well taking care of and he is getting so much love and needed care.

Sometimes skin problems will get worse before they get better even during thearpy.

The process of skin healing can involve initial worsening due to inflammation before improvement occurs. Consistent care and patience are key during this phase.
