Duke was here for a Puppy Head Start training program and absolutely rocked it! He learned both obedience and a wide range of exposure to life skills including baths, vet visits, nail trims, fireworks, spooky spaces, car travel, house breaking, and greeting people appropriately.
The Puppy Head Start programs allow us to expose your puppies to a wide range of environmental places, socializing, obedience, and life skills to get your puppy on the path to success early in life. While it can be hard sometimes to be away from your puppy we always remind everyone building a great foundation keeps those skills much easier and prevents bad habits from forming in a critical age. We always teach you as well how to upkeep and maintain training and are always here for questions!
We always hear back from these owners well into their dogs lives who travel, enjoy training, and are always great anywhere they go! We have several options available and have openings! Let us help you set your puppy up for a lifetime of a well set foundation and let us show you the joys of having a good started puppy. Trajning is for life, but head starts help!

We talk a lot about fitness and nutrition and how important these things are in your dogs everyday life. Even if you dont take lessons from us wede love to help your dog in other ways. Proper nutrition and exercise and keeping your let healthy is a huge benefit in the overall life of your pet. Think about how you feel with a good nights sleep (we know you laughed!), eating better, and getting out to enjoy something you love. When you feel better you smile and are more productive. Pet obesity and poor nutrition can also affect your dogs.
So many people make new years resolutions for themselves. What about your pet? Making sure they are of optimum health and mental wellness. Many of the behavior issues we see in dogs can be helped with some mental and physical stimulation. That doesn’t mean running 5 miles a day! Words can be talked all day, seeing is believing. Here is a 10yo dog with a tendon fusion (front right in video) he will never walk correctly again but look at the improvements! Look how happy he is. The first video was December 12th 2019. The second January 19th 2020. Just a few short weeks and hes moving better and much happier! Message us today to learn about everything there is with xdog and all the great things they offer!
No excuses! You and your dog can do it! This is for the average pet to working and competitive canine! Little steps everyday make the complete picture. Every step, no matter how small is a step!
