Good evening, CCofCTX Family! We have posted videos all of our available puppies. Every one of us is experiencing the crunch of our economy, our family included. A little bit of insight as a breeder: I know of breeders of different breeds who are having an extremely difficult time placing their puppies into the puppies' forever homes. Just go to any website and page and see- ALL breeders are scrambling right now to place their puppies into their forever homes. It's a real thing. COVID threw breeders into a tailspin. The demands for puppies came by the dozens. Breeders built up their breeding programs with hopes of fulfilling dreams of the people who wanted puppies. Then, once we all (as a society) realized that COVID was not going to take out 1/3 of the world's population like we we were told, things went back to the "normal" that we now know. I don't know about you, but in my opinion, the new normal is nothing like the old normal. Things have drastically changed. Prices for literally everything have gone up. For me, excellent quality dog food, cleaning supplies, veterinary care (IF and when available), fuel, utilities, etc...have escalated. I have tried to go with the flow- to neither come out in the red (because who wants to do that) or boast about making excessive amounts of dollars while doing what I love to do- raising well bred, pure bred, honestly bred Corgi puppies for families. That being said, I will stick true to the vision and commitment that I had when I started all of this in 2013. We (as a family) will do this with excellence, or not at all. I will make sure that my Corgi adults and puppies have nothing less than they deserve. While our adoption fees aren't the cheapest, they're not the most expensive either. They're fair, for the puppy that you'll be getting, for the hours and resources that have been put into each of them, for the support, peace of mind, all of the things. I don't sell our puppies to the first person who has the funds. I pray over each puppy and line each puppy up with the home that he or she was born for.

Hello, Corgi Connection of Central Texas Friends! I hope this finds each of you doing great! Just a gentle and realistic reminder: We are pressing on in our vision of raising AKC registered Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies as nearly perfect as possible for families who would like one as badly as our family did years ago.
As all of us are aware, things have significantly economically changed in our society. One of those changes that has been difficult getting used to for us is that the affordable vet clinics that we have relied upon for years continue to send all emergency cases to a chain of after hours emergency clinics that charge astronomical fees. As an example, what used to cost $800 now costs $2,000 (if all goes well), on up to $4,000 + if complications arise, which they often do. We honestly can't care for our Corgis and their puppies with excellence without raising our puppy adoption fees in consideration of those costs.
We hope that you all will understand our position. We are committed to do what we've always done, with excellence, or not at all. All of this being said, our adoption fees reflect our costs of taking care of our adult Corgis and their puppies. We truly are passionate about our Corgis' care and raising puppies *while doing right by them and their parents every step of the way*.

Good morning, CCofCTX Family and Friends! This week will be extra super busy for my family, but we're ready to rock and roll. It's County Fair week!!! The week that our farming/homesteading efforts get showcased and hopefully we'll win some Grand Champion ribbons to get us to Auction. The 3 youngest kiddos are entering cookies, breads, meat rabbits, and dairy goats this year. Our second Grandbaby decided she wanted out of her mommy a bit earlier than was optimal yesterday, too! She and Mommy are doing great, though. So, we're juggling puppies, babies, cookies, breads, rabbits, and goats this week. Please show grace when waiting on replies from me. Please pray for my sanity and stamina this week. Greatly appreciated! Meet the newest future Corgi Queen Averie Ann.

Hello, CCofCTX Friends and Family! Rant alert here......in my efforts to keep things real and also be transparent about yet another sucky thing about my "job". So, I had to do a difficult thing that was difficult for me because I genuinely LOVE people and I feel the need to explain why. I had to ban someone who posted an "Adopt Don't Shop" comment on here. I get it. I really do. Having spent the better part of my 52 year lifespan in the trenches of rescuing animals of all types because of monsters who didn't properly care for them, I get it the hearts of folks who would rather see all of the kennels in the shelters empty before any more animals are brought into this world. SO WOULD I. BUT (and it's a huge BUT), those animals are not there because of people like ME. ALL of my puppies go to their forever homes with spay/neuter contracts having been signed. Irresponsibility when it comes to those puppies is not on me- it's on their new owners. Furthermore, not everyone wants the breeds (and plenty of mixes of those breeds) that are typically found in the shelters. Not every animal found in shelters can be trusted with babies, toddlers, other pets, etc....sometimes, folks just want a well raised puppy of a certain breed to bring home and have it grow up with their family. THOSE are the families that I relentlessly search for when placing MY puppies. I can't be more responsible about my breeding practices. My adults are taken care of with excellence, as are my puppies. I just completed my tax preparation, only to find out I'm "in the red" yet another consistent year. Reputable breeders are typically in the red because they put their adoption fees right back into their breeding programs! I'm doing ALL of the things. So, (speaking only to those who are "Adopt Don't Shop" people), you do you. You can't go around bullying people who do things the right way. I'm NOT who you're truly after. Kindly take a step off of this page if it "triggers" you.

As a breeder (these are MY words and not something that I've copied and am pasting here)....I get asked, "How much?" Other breeders are offended when people ask that question first, but I am NOT. Why? Because I understand that we are all trying to get by and budgets are important. There is nothing wrong with asking right off the bat if something is within your budget. Maybe you just don't want to spend "x" amount of dollars or more on a puppy. I get it! I would like others to know that while my puppies might cost a bit more than another breeder, you will be hard pressed to find a puppy like mine. A puppy who is meticulously taken care of, socialized, records meticulously kept, desensitized, whose parents, grandparents, and great grandparents are likely on premises and have been meticulously cared for throughout their lives. When you adopt one of my puppies, you adopt a piece of my family, which I am sold out for and have put my all into. Adopt with confidence, Folks. Our breeding program received FIVE STARS from an AKC inspector who has been inspecting for 19 years. We don't take that lightly. We EARNED that rating. I hope everyone has a blessed New Year! It's going to be a good one!

Just a friendly reminder....PLEASE register your microchips that were placed in your CCofCTX puppies while they were in our care. It is the single most important thing you can do to increase the chances of getting your Corgi back if he or she runs off. Please don't think that you could never lose track of your beloved Companion- you absolutely CAN! Here are the two links to register those chips. If you need help locating your puppy's chip number, I have records of all of them. You can find their chip numbers on various papers within your puppy packs. Please check there first and reach out if you can't locate them. The first is a FREE registry and the second only costs $19. Your peace of mind is priceless. Just please do it!
