⚡️Say hello to Flash! ⚡️

Flash is a shelter dog from the Flora Shropshire Animal Shelter here in Cynthiana. Flash came in last night and volunteered to donate blood for a fellow furry friend in need. He is a sweet boy who really seems to love people. His personality and willingness to help save a life captured us all at the clinic. Flash is currently looking for a forever home to call his own. He is a hound mix that appears to be about 2-3 years old and has lots of love to give! He is also Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasmosis negative! If you are interested in adopting this canine hero please contact the shelter for more information. 💙

This little fella is one tough kitten! 💪🏻🐈

“Baby” is a barn kitten we met this week after he took a big jump and landed on something he shouldn’t have, resulting in a laceration that penetrated his chest cavity.

Thanks to the quick action of his parents and Dr. Grinstead, we were able to fully repair his injury. After a couple days of close monitoring and some medications, he is back to his kitten ways and was able to go home to his family today. Best wishes Baby, we can’t wait to see how much you’ve grown at your suture removal!

Meet Tuco! 🐶🧡

Tuco came in today to be neutered. As if his shining personality wasn’t enough, he won the hearts of everyone here after seeing him in his Orange Slice inflatable collar post-op.

This collar will help to ensure that he can’t reach his surgical incision during the healing process. Wishing you a speedy, and stylish, recovery Tuco! 🍊

Everyone Meet Blue 💙

Poor “Blue” had a baby gate fall on his little foot resulting in a limp. After taking radiographs, we discovered that he had a break in his left foot. 🩻

He was the best boy for his splint application… literally sleeping through the whole thing. What a good patient! Wishing you a speedy recovery Blue!
