***Anyone who is considering adopting a small puppy, especially a
tiny teacup puppy, absolutely must be aware of hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia, also known as low blood sugar, is a condition where
the blood sugar level of a teacup puppy drops to an ex

tremely low
level, usually due to lack of food, or by using up all stored energy
without it being replenished, (playing/running for extended periods of time, shivering out of nervousness or being chilled, stress, …). Warming: if the puppy is NOT TREATED, hypoglycemia will cause brain damage and/or DEATH. Treatment: You can remedy hypoglycemia and treatment at home can be given. Karo syrup, pancake syrup, or honey are good sources of glucose. Coat puppies' mouth, gums, and cheeks with syrup/honey. Repeat every 2-3 minutes until the puppy responds. If the puppy does not show improvement in 15-20 minutes, call you VETERINARIAN IMMEDIATELY!!! Teacup puppies always should have food and water around them. Pea sized drop of Nutri Cal before meals and bedtime and morning!!

Our super teacup Maltese girl is going home on 6/5. Mommy is patient waiting for her to get ready. She is going to be 15 weeks. Mommy bought 4 puppies from us already. 💗💗💗🙏🙏🙏 ‼️‼️‼️Important things need to be mentioned again: if you are buying a teacup, they need to be separate from other dogs until they complete their shots. The puppy may be exposed to the virus in various ways, as they may have come direct or indirect contact with it and become infected......Puppies are at the greatest risk for parvo between 6 weeks to 6 months! ‼️‼️‼️HYPOGLYCEMIA is very common on small breeds. Sudden drop of glucose/sugerin the blood.
