The farm had another hard loss with the storms yesterday and today
Took out most of our meat birds.
We pasture raise our animals OUTSIDE which means me are often subjected to the elements. We don't have indoor facilities because we don't believe in raising meat indoors.
🚨 on another note our egg layers are doing fine! And we will be in Royse City this evening from 6-615 (at Walker Hawk) for any eggs or meat you need

We finally have laid eyes on everything to assess damages…..
we unfortunately have lost a HUGE amount of our meat birds, it’s a pretty discouraging and devastating blow to production. With more storms headed our way we are trying to figure what is our best coarse of action. We know loss is “part” of raising animals but it’s heavy on the heart for us as we are called to Stuart these animals.
Cows + horse look great, they weathered the storm well.
Egg Chickens are doing well, their coop got wet so you may get a little dirtier eggs then normal, but all in all no big deal.
Farm/Ranch life isn’t for the faint of heart! Thank you to everyone who continues to support us from encouraging words to purchasing our products this little family farm truly appreciates it.
