BSH farm moved in 2022, and it was a big move. We were in our other home for 27 years, and had a lot of stuff to relocate.
Here are some pictures of the build of our new chicken coops. There are 6 coops, 10 feet wide by 5 foot deep (the covered part) with 10x10 chain link kennels for runs. We are now putting up a 5 foot fence around the coops. This will be the chickens free ranging area (we call it their play yard), using some of our trees for fence posts.
We have some finishing up to do, but thought I'd post some pictures.

Came across some neat birds in our hatches. When they hatched we assumed they were wheaten ,but they have feathered in as white. We only raise Partridge silkies ,so this is a neat genetic phenomenon.

We apologize for how inactive We have been and how we have not been able to respond to messages. As some may know, we made the decision to move last summer ,and we have had many projects to complete since then. The biggest one was getting a water well. We are finally getting a start on our new poultry pens after the move. We have cut back to focus on the following breeds with our partner Top Tier Farms in Ada, OK. We are now located in northern Whitesboro,TX, by the Red River. Below is a list of our poultry breeds we have chosen to focus on.

We are officially out of hatching eggs for the year. The heat has made no one want to lay and I can say I blame them. Thank you to everyone that has purchased eggs from us this year. We look forward to start shipping more next year around late Febuary.

Backyard Quality - Birds we deem Backyard quality are not intended to be used in a breeding program. However they still can make great Backyard pets or eggs layers. Birds are deemed Backyard quality ,because we feel they do not have beneficial traits to add to a breeding program.

Breeder Quality - Birds we deem Breeder Quality are birds we belive could beneficial to a breeding program. They also will make great Backyard pets or eggs layers as well if that's what your looking for. Most Breeder Quality birds we sell can be shown ,however we don't feel they represent the breed standard to its fullest potential.

We work very closely with our breeding partner in Ada, OK. Considering we're family we see each other a lot. Our breeding partner is my grandson. He has developed and helped maintain most of our breeding programs including project varieties like Tolbunt Polish and Partridge Brahmas.

This last year he has been working on expanding into waterfowl and has started with Rouens. Below are some pictures of his exhibition Rouen flock.

We are also going to be selling some silkie hens here soon. We have decided to focus on Partridge and Greys.
