She doesn’t get raw every day anymore but when T goes hunting, she gets the legs, heart, lungs and gizzard. Nothing goes to waste with her and the pups during hunting season!

A good friend of ours has Pure Queensland Heeler pups available. She’s located in Redding. Totally litter count was 7 girls 2 boys. We need help finding homes for 5 girls and 2 boys. If anybody is interested or knows somebody who has been looking, please reach out! They are ready to go home as of 1/27/2023.

Did you know dogs can sense when somebody is sick and also when a woman is pregnant, even before she knows! Guido has been keeping a close eye on my mother in law lately.

For those of you that don’t know, my mother in law has been sick since Memorial Day. We still don’t know what is going on but hopefully soon we will have some sort of answer. All they can tell us is her Lupus is in a flare along with her having Ramsey Hunt Syndrome. If you pray, please pray for our family. This women is our rock, the strongest person I know, she beat breast cancer for gosh sakes! But at least today she found it in her to play with Evie, Guido wasn’t far 😊

‼️ HEAT ADVISORY ‼️

If you are somebody that takes their pets on daily walks, please be mindful of 2 things: how hot it is & how hot the ground can be.

Also providing access to water. Make sure it is out of the sun if your dog is in the yard, that there bowl is in the shade and please avoid adding ice to their bowls. I know it’s nice to think of but if a dog is already hot, consuming ice cold water is going to make their bodies work harder to absorb.

Saint & Lady have been on a roll lately! They get at least 3 squirrels a day. Today they went into the creek next to our road and came up with a prize!

I hope this helps some people. We get asked a lot what goes into our figures when pricing out litters and this is AMAZING info to have! It’s not just extra food & water folks! We don’t charge $3,500, not even close actually. But we do barely break even.

To us it isn’t about $$, it’s about finding families that both understand and are aware of what goes into owning Heelers, their drive, instincts, wants/needs and basic care.

‼️ Trigger Warming - Dead Rodent ‼️

The girls got a squirrel right at the beginning of our run tonight. Lady wanted to play keep away and proceeded to run down the driveway with it. I know this post won’t be for everyone but dogs are hunters, they have a drive like no other. Let them use it so they don’t end up eating their kennels or your furniture.
