Cash had a couple tough retrieves today: an angry Canadian goose and duck in the mud. I was really happy he made it out of that muck. I didn't want to have to go get him!
Rey’s retrieves were straightforward but I didn’t get any pictures…

Today, Jax successfully pointed his first woodcock, an exciting accomplishment. Our started puppy, Jax, is housebroken, crate-trained, very laid-back in the house, and prepared to become a hunting partner for someone. Bill is doing a great job giving this puppy a good start. It was a big weekend for Jax, the 14 wk old small munsterlander, with his first water bumper retrieve, his first puppy pigeon point, and tons of running in the fields and woods. This boy is a very chilled out dog, easy going and SMART! I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do as a young pup on grouse and woodcock in a couple months and then sending him to his forever home…pm for more info!
