🐶 Puppy Love Overload! 🐶

We got to meet the newest bundle of joy in our clinic— this adorable litter of German Shorthaired Pointer Puppies! These 6 week old pups just had their first check-up, and we couldn’t resist sharing their cuteness with you. 🐾💜

Puppies need special care to ensure they grow up healthy and strong. Regular vet visits are key to their well-being and development. These cuties are on the right track with their first round of check-ups and vaccinations!

Introducing Kita, a 17-year-old Siberian Husky who was brought into our office after ingesting a fishing hook. An X-ray revealed that the hook was lodged in her oesophagus. Dr. Current skillfully performed surgery to remove the hook. Kita demonstrated remarkable resilience throughout the process and her loving family was by her side throughout her recovery!

Meet Raven a 3 year old chicken. She presented today in our Troy clinic with a necrotic wound. Dr. Current didn’t hesitate to surgically help Raven. She handled sedation like a champ. We are cheering Raven on!

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Community Veterinary Clinic!🇺🇸

As you celebrate America's independence today, don't forget about your furry friends. Fireworks and other festivities can be stressful for pets, so here are some safety tips to keep them happy and healthy:

🐾 Keep your pets indoors during fireworks displays to prevent them from running away in fear. (Make sure your pets have proper identification in case they do escape).
🐾 Create a safe and quiet space for your pets to retreat to, such as a room with their favorite toys and bedding.
🐾 Keep all fireworks, sparklers, and glow sticks away from your pets, as these can be harmful if ingested.
🐾 Avoid feeding your pets human food from the barbecue, as certain foods can be toxic to animals.

Looking like a snack 🍩

Milo came in for his suture removal following his neuter and prophylactic gastropexy. Deep-chested dogs are at risk of twisting their stomachs after eating, and this surgery helps to better protect Milo from such a life-threatening incident.

Big round of ap-paws to our patient Fluffy!

This brave furball had a big cyst removed and is now back on their paws, feeling better than ever!

Fluffy (even though he’s not so fluffy anymore) got what we like to call a Lions cut, to help keep the incision clean and dry and help Fluffy get back to his grooming ways.

We are so proud of him and his owner!

Tiny came in to see Dr. Hurley for a leg injury after jumping off furniture. Her injury required the utilization of a splint and rest at home. Her owners are keeping her calm while she recuperates, ensuring a speedy recovery and return to normal behavior!

Despite her tiny size, Tiny has a big spirit and we had to share her picture since her blinged-out jewelry was too adorable!
