🐾 Meet Brandi, Zane, Charlie, & Gonzo! 💕

-Brandi is a Lab/German Shorthaired Pointer Mix, Zane is a Mastiff Mix, Charlie is a Springer Spaniel, and Gonzo is a Mastiff/Great Dane/Lab Mix!
-Charlie and Gonzo are 2, Brandi is 3, and Zane is 5 years old.

We had the pleasure of doing drop-in visits for this fantastic four last weekend! These pups all got along fabulously! Zane is the more serious one so he liked getting one-on-one attention, Brandi and Gonzo were all about playing fetch, and Charlie was a little sweetie who liked lots of cuddles — and they all LOVED treats!

This crew was a ton of fun and we’re looking forward to more visits with these guys in the future! Welcome, pups! 🥰

🐾 Meet Tucker & Fletcher 💕

-Tucker is a Miniature Goldendoodle and Fletcher is a gorgeous Himalayan.
-They are 9 and 14 years old — but you’d never be able to tell!

These beautiful boys were two more new clients we took on this weekend while their mom enjoyed the Minnesota State Fair! 🧀

Tucker enjoyed all the walks we took around the neighborhood and Fletcher was the happiest during meal times. They were such sweeties and made a wonderful impression during the two days we spent with them over the weekend.

We’re looking forward to spending even more time with them in October! See you soon, boys! 🥰

🎉 Today we’re celebrating the 5th Birthday of our bestest boy, Bowie! 🥳🧁🐾

This handsome guy has added so much excitement and adventure into our lives. He was the catalyst behind the idea to start my own pet sitting business and one half of the inspiration behind our logo and overall aesthetic. 🥰

Days with Bowie are never dull! So if you need us today, we’ll be showering him with extra cuddles, walks, and all the treats his tummy can handle!

🐾 Meet Hanna! 💕

-She’s a great big, BEAUTIFUL Saint Bernard.
-She is currently 3 years old and will be turning 4 in October!

We had such a fun time with Hanna this weekend! She was a total cuddle bug during our visits and even liked to sit in our lap! The largest dogs are always such softies and she was no exception! She greeted us with big smiles each time we arrived.

Welcome, Hanna! You are a gentle giant and were a total gem while your folks were away! 🥰

“This weekend was a busy one for me & with a deployment I sometimes need last minute help. I have always been organized for future events to schedule doggie care but sometimes things slip thru the cracks. Tonya Putney with Tail Wags & Walks LLC has been my savior once again this weekend to help me out at the last minute with making sure the pups were walked & fed. If you’re in the area & need some animal check-ins or walks reach out to Tonya! She will do an initial meet & greet with you, take notes on feedings, personality/triggers for your dogs, and then when she’s with your animals you always get photos & a recap on how the visit went. Yes, I’ve always used ‘the app’ in the past since I had a few walkers I got to know & trust, but here’s a woman that I’ve known for years (one of Freya’s puppies is her adopted pup!) that started her own business.”

🐾 Meet Hattie & Fitzy! 💕

-Hattie is a Collie and Fitzy is a Sheltie.
-She is 4 and he is 7 years old.

We had a wonderful time with this absolutely adorable duo this weekend! We went on lots of walks and enjoyed exploring their new neighborhood while their dad was out of town.

Hattie was a bit more timid at first (Fitzy was outgoing and social right away) — but she quickly realized that our visits meant adventures and yummy treats and then she was sweet as can be!

Welcome, you two! Can’t wait to work with you again! 🥰

🐾 Meet Moo, Mae, Molly & Maggie! 💕

-They are 17, 4, 9, and 5 years old.
-Moo is the tabby, Mae is the ginger, Molly is all black, and Maggie is all white!

I spent 8 days doing drop-in visits for these girls! 😻Moo and Molly were friendly right from the beginning, Mae took a little longer to warm up to us, and Maggie decided to tolerate us at the VERY end of the week. 🤣

Luckily they all loved their treats and that was great way for us to be able to gain their trust. They were all sweet as can be and we loved getting to spend so much time with them.

🐾 Meet Sky & Clementine! 💕

-Sky is a Poodle Mix & Clementine is a Mixed Breed (though we’re guessing she’s got some Cattle Dog in her for sure!).
-1 1/2 & 10 years old.

We got to go on a walk with these sweet girls while their family was out of town. 🦮🐕‍🦺🚶‍♀️

Though we didn’t get to spend a lot of time with these two — they left quite the impression on us! They were a ton of fun! Clementine loved getting chest rubs and being the center of attention and Sky was super playful and showing off all her toys when they got back home.

Hopefully we’ll get another chance to spend more time with these lovely ladies in the future! See you next time, Sky & Clem! 🥰

“Recently we had the opportunity to travel knowing our dogs would be well cared for in our absence. Tonya is highly detail oriented and wants to maintain the continuity of high quality care to which our dogs are accustomed. Tonya recently went above and beyond to make sure one of our pups got his Rx refilled in our absence after Chewy emailed the Rx would not be arriving as promised. 🐾 Meet Ferguson & Henry! 💕

-They are both Domestic Longhaired kitties.
-They are 1 1/2 and 3 years old.
-Ferguson is the ginger and Henry is the white/gray fella.

These two were so much fun to watch! 😻They were extremely affectionate and sweet. They loved to be pet and to follow us from one room to another to be sure they didn’t miss anything! Ferguson was a feisty guy and liked wrestling with his brother and climbing up our legs to get head scratches. Henry was all about getting affection and lots of extra cuddles.

We loved getting to spend time with these two for the past two weeks and will miss their adorable faces.

🌈💔 It is with a heavy heart that we must share that our sweet pal, Cooper passed away today. He will be terribly missed by us and each of his siblings — as he was certainly the leader of the pack.

All of our thoughts and prayers are with his mom.

We love you, Cooper. We feel so lucky that we got to know you this year and spend as much time as we did with you. You were such a fun boy and we’ll never forget your spunky personality!

I spent some time this weekend taking another Fear Free Pets Certification course specifically geared towards pet sitters and dog walkers.

Continuing to learn more helpful tips for daily use while providing our services and bettering myself as an animal care provider is top priority for me!

This course was full of valuable information and I highly recommend that anyone who works directly with animals goes through Fear Free training. Additionally, I would encourage any person seeking care for their pets makes sure whomever they hire is a Fear Free Certified Professional — and has the documentation to prove it! ♥️
