Clippers is looking for a receptionist to help us out. You would help check dogs in and out answer phone and schedule dogs for grooming. It would be 9-5 Tuesday through Saturday. Let us know if you are interested. Call Barb at 253-307-1478.

It’s that time again. Our groomers will be attending athe NW Grooming Seminar from Thursday, March 16- Saturday, March 18th. During this time Clippers Grooming Salon will be closed. This is a great opportunity for expanded employee education and the learning of new pet care concepts. We find this exciting and recharging. Our shop reopens again Tuesday, March 21st. See you soon…

I just want to thank my clients for being the absolute best !! We are welcoming a new groomer next week. She did my standard poodle as her test dog . She was amazing, the haircut is superb and the way she treated my pup was how I want dogs to be treated. Everyone we will have another groomer, help us welcome Addie. You’re going to love her , we can’t wait.

Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving and be careful what you feed your 4 legged fur babies

Today for we thought it would be helpful to give everyone a reminder of what dogs can and cannot indulge in during dinner! Of course, we’ve probably all snuck our dogs some mashed potatoes or ham, but we don’t want to give them too much due to the high fat and sodium content. Things like desserts, we worry about the xylitol. Dog should never have raw dough, the yeast continues to convert the sugar into carbon dioxide and alcohol in the dogs stomach, which is very dangerous!

If you’re worried your dog got into something potentially harmful, having the Pet Poison Helpline or your local 24 hour emergency vet’s number readily available is a great idea!
