#HurricaneBeryl clean up day at the B4RAW facility and property. Phewww what a day. Many, many trailer loads of trees and debris hauled off & some fencing repairs completed. A lot more work to be done, but today we put a huge dent in it. 🙌🏼
We couldn’t have accomplished what we did today without the generosity of El Campo Cycle Center for sending over a side-by-side, trailer, BadBoy Chainsaw & Alyson Lapeyrouse Irby! A HUGE thank you for your love & support of B4RAW! Thank you John Richter for coming out with your chainsaw and jumping right in to help!

After 8+ hours of non stop, hard manual labor in this crazy heat & humidity 🥵… we are all going to be sore tomorrow, but today was a great, blessed day!

We rescued Molly Sue from the El Campo Animal Shelter several months ago. She was heartworm positive, but has completed her heartworm treatment like the champ she is! ❤️🩹 #healinghearts She is a true golden inside and out! An amazing lady she is! ♥️

We rescued Duke from the Bay City/Matagorda County Animal Impound and he’s a dream boy! 🥰 He is heartworm postive too. He was neutered today and will undergo treatment to heal is heart soon! ❤️🩹

Murphy is cone free!! 🙌🏼
He had his check up with Dr. Kana yesterday and got all his stitches removed from his amputation. He has healed very well and hasn’t missed a beat! He’s such a great, happy boy! 💙

Last week on Tuesday Murphy had his amputation and he’s back with us now. ❤️
He’s is doing really good! He had a couple rough days and quite a bit of swelling after surgery so he hung out the vet clinic for 6 days for after surgery care. Huge thank you to the awesome staff at Lakeway Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Kana for always taking such great care of our rescued ones. Murphy has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Please send him your well wishes!

From loosing the very minimal mobility she had last year when we rescued her to climbing steps!! Look at this girl go!! 🤩
She’s been slowly gaining her mobility back. We carry her in and out multiple times a day. Several months ago she started getting up and walking a pretty good distance (short distance, but for her long distance). A couple weeks ago we were all outside doing our evening shenanigans and as I’m calling everyone “let’s go in kids” and I was looking for Princess P to carry her up the stairs. We have a pretty large back yard and I couldn’t find her. I knew she couldn’t have got out, but where was she?!? I never thought to look on the back porch, because we have been carrying her down and up the stairs for months. Yep! There she was! On the back porch sitting so pretty and proud! You can imagine my surprise and excitement! And disappointment that I had missed it too! Now she’s a master stair climber! Not every time does she clime up herself, but we are super excited and proud for the times she does and so is she! Just look at how proud she is at the end of the video ☺️🐾💪🏼 We still carry her down of course and once she’s on the ground, she’s off!

We are treating her ears for severe ear infection as they are in bad shape. We’ve been treating them for two weeks and they are better, but still horrible. That’s how bad of an ear infection she has. Honestly, we thought she may be deaf, but she’s not. That is how bad her poor ears are. Since we are out of the woods for possible seizures from her head wound, we have been able to start her on medication for her skin issues and she is responding very well to the medication. This girl is a trooper! She’s amazing! 💖
