Hey all you Woof Valley followers. Don’t forget that Labor Day is approaching. If you haven’t scheduled your dog’s boarding yet I encourage you to do so sooner than later. We’ve had a lot of folks call and schedule these past couple days. We still have availability but space is limited. If it will be your dogs first time, there’s still plenty of time to take advantage of our Daycare rate of only $2.50 per hour to get your dog acclimated and comfortable with our facility and employees prior to leaving them overnight for Boarding. Joshua Tipton and Emma Wysor here at Woof Valley had the great pleasure of helping out the Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter today by grooming this sweet and handsome fella. Everyone meet Moose. Moose appears to be a Border Terrier or at least a Border Terrier mix. Unfortunately, his human mother passed away and now he’s an orphan. Upon arriving at the shelter to pick him up, the moment he came walking out I knew we were in for a treat. From the first introduction he was tail wagging and all smiles. He’s one of those dogs that’s never met a stranger. He wasn’t in horrible condition but he definitely needed a good bath and some trimming. While at Woof Valley Moose mingled and played very well with the other dogs. Making him a great dog park candidate for his future family. He also did well walking on a leash. He’d make a great hiking companion. I think it’s safe to say he enjoyed his photoshoot as well. Moose is now back at the shelter waiting to find his forever family and start a new life. If you feel you can give Moose a wonderful new life contact the Elizabethton Shelter to schedule a meeting. Please share and lets help this guy find his new home! Hey everyone emma here! So just a little update for my scheduling. I am only going to be working one Saturday a month from now on. I’m sorry if this inconveniences anyone but I have scheduled too many appointments for people who say they can only do Saturdays and then them no call, no show. These Saturdays will be June 1st(already full), July 6th, August 3rd, September 7th, October 5th, November 2nd, and December 7th. I may work a couple more closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thanks guys!
