Hey yall Emma here! So I thought I’d let people know since we have so many people calling, I am currently completely booked until the week before Thanksgiving (the week of the 18th) there are just a few more spot that week and I am working the 25th, 26th and 27th which have some more openings. I am so sorry for any inconveniences but I am trying to get yall in as soon as possible and I can only do so many dogs a day😓 so please please message as soon as you can for a thanksgiving or Christmas appointment before they are gone!

!!WE HAVE 3 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENTS!! Please Share!

#1 Today is our One Year Anniversary! Thank you to all our customers, followers and supporters. It has been an AMAZING 1st year, and we have you to thank for that.

#2 We are already EXPANDING!! To better serve our customers and provide your pups with extra room to run and play we have acquired an additional 800 square feet in our current building which we will be turning into a larger indoor play area than our current indoor playroom.

#3 WE ARE HIRING. We are looking to hire two additional experienced groomers and Kennel/Playtime Attendants. The Kennel/Playtime Attendant position's role will include but not limited to:
-Supervising open playtime in our indoor playroom as well as our 2,700 square foot outdoor playground.
-Cleaning kennels, traffic areas, playroom etc. (Lots of cleaning)
-Feeding
-Administering medications
-Customer interaction, answering calls, scheduling appointments, check-ins and checkouts.
-Baths, De-sheds, Nail trims
-And much more!

Previous experience in a Dog Daycare & Boarding Facility, Veterinary Clinic, Dog Training Facility or Animal Shelter is preferred but not a requirement.

Requirements that are a must include a love and patience for dogs, willing to be part of a team, acceptable to constructive criticism, a willingness to learn all aspects of the industry and willing to work weekends and holidays. Candidates must be 18 years or older.

Hey everyone, PLEASE PLEASE SHARE THIS! We want to help the Unicoi County Animal Shelter by offering our Elizabethton facility as a drop off location for items needed and I will make sure they get it. (This is not for monetary donations). They have set up a gofundme account for that. This is for the items they are needing to clean, repair, rebuild, etc and get the shelter back open. Here is the most recent list of items they need that I could find. The Unicoi Animal Shelter is located next to the water treatment facility in Erwin so in addition to mud and water the shelter was flooded with sewage. A lot of you know that I am originally from Erwin. It is my hometown and ALL my family still live there. You may drop items off at our facility Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 10am. If you can't make it during those times, feel free to call my cell at 423-220-6876 and I will meet you there.
We are located behind Sammon's restaurant at 2008 Forsyth Dr, Elizabethton TN 37643.

IMPORTANT PSA!!
Joshua Tipton here. I thought everyone knew by now, but day after day I still have customers bringing their dogs in on retractable leashes. PLEASE PLEASE UNDERSTAND that RETRACTABLE LEASHES ARE DANGEROUS! And you should stop using them immediately. They are dangerous for you and extremely dangerous for your dog. That being said, please remember we DO NOT ALLOW RETRACTABLE LEASHES AT WOOF VALLEY. When bringing your dog into our facility, they should be brought in on a regular standard leash that is the correct length and strength in comparison to your dog’s size and strength level. They should be wearing a collar that is on snug and can’t slip off, but not too tight of course. If the leash is going to be connected to a harness, they still must wear a collar and the harness should be adjusted snug to their body but not too tight. They still have to breathe. 😂 Dogs 15 pounds or less can be carried in if needed. We appreciate y’all soo much. We just want to keep you and your pups safe. I’ll post links into the comments of my top picks of harnesses, collars etc. Everyone feel free to comment and share pics or links to your favorite ones and we can help one another out. But only post ones that are safe, comfortable, and easy to put on and take off. Oh, and here’s more info on the dangers of retractable leashes.

Talia is a young small Great Pyrenees or Pyrenees mix. She’s super sweet and will be available for adoption after she gets spayed on Thursday.
