I have a breeder friend in New Hampshire that wants wonderful pet homes for her babies. The momma of these pups is the “Siff” daughter to my girl True. Siff is Benjamin’s 1/2 sister. Wanted to update with new pictures as they grow so fast. They will be ready for their forever home in the next 4 weeks. Tips in buying and AHT:
1. Make sure you ask about health testing on the parents of potential pups, as to see all health testing via email.
2. One of the most important health tests is a Bile Acid Test done by bloodwork and should be done on both parents, if they don’t do this test on parents or are not willing to do on your puppy choice. You may want to find a breeder that does.
3. What type of puppy socialization do they do with their pups?
4. How many litters does the breeder have a year? Breeders having numerous litters in a year can be a red flag.
5. What guarantee do they give on the pup? Are they there for you for the life of the dog to answer and assist with any questions you have through the years?
6. Just because breeder may have many AKC or UKC show dogs and a fancy website doesn’t make them a reputable breeder.
7. If the breeder isn’t willing to answer any and all questions. Move on
