Our IEA team is jumping for joy after two fantastic shows this weekend. Our riders braved the cold back-to-back show days with enthusiasm and team spirit, in true fashion!

High school team tied for reserve champion at Garrison Forest (a tie breaker unfortunately didn’t go in our favor and bumped us to third, but it still counts in our minds!), and middle school team brought home the reserve from Full Moon Farm. Our appreciation goes out to both host barns for smooth show days on stellar horses.

Congrats to all of the riders, and special thanks to all the family members and friends who make the best cheering/support squad. We are so proud of our brand new team and all the progress everyone has made this season. Gearing up for our home show in a few weeks! 🍀💚🍀💚

Teamwork makes the dream work!

Adult team rode beautifully to a second place finish in our National Capital Adult Equitation League debut today. Thanks Meadowood and Willowbend for being such friendly and fun competitors. The Meadowood horses were all superstars and the team put on an awesome and smooth show.

2 weeks ago our IEA - Interscholastic Equestrian Association teams continued improving at Garrison Forest’s fantastic show. Our team captain Camille even created a Clover Luck IEA chant to get the team hyped. We can’t wait for our double header next weekend.

It’s been a busy month so far for Clover Luck- lots of updates coming soon! Today our adult team was happy to show some love to Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue when they were in the neighborhood at Manor Hill Brewing / Manor Hill Farm. Good luck to the team tomorrow at their first show of the season with National Capital Adult Equitation League!

A gloomy horse show day can’t get in the way of these bright smiles. made their IEA horse show debut today, learned a lot, and supported one another every step of the way. For most of these riders, it was their first IEA show experience, and for some of them their first horse show ever! (For those who don’t know, for IEA shows we travel to the host barn and draw names, and the riders have to get on a horse they’ve never ridden, adjust their stirrups, and head straight into the show ring.) Everyone is ready to work hard to keep improving throughout the season. Thanks to Full Moon Farm and their wonderful horses for the hosting and hospitality.

We had a few special guests visit us recently. Howard County Executive Calvin Ball and Larry Twele, CEO of Howard County Economic Development Authority, stopped by to show their support for Clover Luck during Howard County Business Appreciation Week. We are beyond thrilled that we were able to bring Clover Luck permanently back to Howard County earlier this year, and that we are just down the street from Stephanie's other Howard County-based business, Drama Learning Center (DLC).

We had a blast with our end-of-summer send off…our inaugural Camp Clover Luck: Adult Edition! It was an action packed fun week with lots of saddle time, wine tasting with our favorite resident sommelier, ba****ck jumping in our gymkhana, first aid / wrapping relay, rider biomechanics lecture, gymnastics clinic, adult in-house show, and the highlight of the week…a gorgeous and relaxing trail ride to Woodstock Inn. Special thanks to our friends at Playtime Pastures for guiding us through the woods and back and for an epic good time. 🍀💚💙🍀

is having a blast at Colonial Classic Horse show at Devon, and the horses are exceeding our expectations. We kicked off the weekend as the first trip in Hunt Teams, and it was every bit as fun as we expected. Icing on the cake was our 9th out of 20 teams placing.

Today, The Carrot Item proved beyond a doubt that he is ready to be a big show horse, placing in every class out of 39 horses in Baby Green. For a horse who couldn’t hold a canter lead a year and a half ago, to be holding his own in the Dixon Oval is a dream come true for our team and all that have believed in this horse along the way. Congrats to our “Noodle!”

Jumping into Labor Day weekend like.....🍀🍀🍀

We head out today for a fun weekend checking an item off the bucket list: riding at the historic Devon Horse Show grounds! We are proud of our horses for working hard to qualify for Colonial Classic. Good luck and safe rides to all competitors!

Our August show recap is coming soon, but we couldn’t wait to congratulate Hollaback Girl (“Gwen”) and her leaser Kayla for taking 4th in the invitation-only Jumper Challenge finale at BEST Horse Shows! Gwen has had an incredible season, and we are so proud of her and her riders, Kayla and Camille. 🍀💙💚💙🍀
