HAPPY TUESDAY!

Today starts our feed fundraiser for next weeks feed! We really need to try to get this covered as we are having the pastures seeded and fertilized this week which will be a huge out of pocket expense as we havent done a fundraiser for it, but it NEEDS to be done. We didn’t meet our goal last week so let’s get it done this week! 🙏🏻

I know we are all broke during the year Holidays but if all 2440 could donate just $10, I wouldn’t have to make this post weekly 🫣.

Summer, Scout, Tonto, Indie, Brodhi & Gracie all got checked!

He will be back in a few weeks to do all the ponies and mini donkeys.

I’m going to go LIVE when I get on the road to go pick up Reno. Theres been a comment on one of my begging for donation posts that I feel I need to address. I’m sure if one person is thinking this way, there are bound to be others. So I’m going to go over how we work, how we run this rescue and PLEASE, if you have ideas on what we can do to allow us to beg less for funds, please share them.

I won’t be able to respond to comments as I will be driving and paying attention to the road, but it’s a good time for me to talk as I’ll be sitting for a few hours 🫣.

Remember last week when I had to transport Reno to University of Tennessee due to a major gash in his heel that cut through tendons?

WELL, I get to go pick him back up today! He had his surgery and it all went great! He will need a couple months of rehab but his mommy is super happy and will give him all the best care and love he needs! His pasture buddy I’m sure is also just as excited for him to come home!

If yall can pray we have a safe trip, I’d appreciate it! I’m super nervous about his transport and somewhat long trailer ride back.

WEEKLY FEED FUNDARAISER STARTS NOW FOR NEXT WEEKS FEED & DENTAL WORK!

We were $150 short for this weeks feed and we wont be able sustain if we dont start getting in donations to cover the care of these rescues. We also have the equine dentist coming to have a couple of the horses teeth floated. This is $80 per horse and we have to get donations in to cover this as well. We will start with 4 horses so this week we will need $850.00 for feed and dental😭

We really want to continue doing what we are doing, but just like you, we have yet to find the money tree or win the lottery. If we don't start getting enough donations in to cover the rescue bills, we are going to have to reevaluate things. We have to be able to live also and cannot continue to draw as much as we are having to from our personal savings.

Rescues need us to fight for them, to be their voice, to care for them, to give them the life they deserve. They didn't ask to be starved, they didn't ask to be abused, they didn't ask to be forgotten but they were. Every rescue here would have lost its life if it wasn't for us and for you and we have to have your continued support in order to continue their rehab and care.

If you have never donated to us, I ask that you give just $5 to help support these equines. We have 2400 followers and if everyone gave just $5 every month, we could do so much for these babies...

So finally got the PayPal Giving fund account reapproved and running "again"! Our bank account name was abbreviated as our name was too long when I opened the account online and PayPal didnt like that.

It will take Facebook a couple days for them to get us added to be able for people to choose us for birthday fundraisers, but we should be GTG here soon!

Now that we are a 501c3, we can allow individuals to do their community service hours including Court ordered, Highschool and College service hours, etc at our farm!

There are always projects that need to be done and things we need help with.

⭐️ Mending fences
⭐️ Mucking Stalls
⭐️ Chopping wood
⭐️ so much more…

This is Bo, he’s around 20 years old. Very sweet, great with other horses and laid back, loves kids and to be pet on and brushed.

Bo is showing signs of EPM and will start treatment. Not knowing how treatment will affect the disease, a companion only home would best for him as being able to be ridden again cannot be guaranteed. The adopter will be required to continue his treatment but EPM can be managed so don’t let that scare you away from this beautiful boy!

He needs a soft place to land and be loved on and deserves a chance to have a beautiful life!
